@@I_dunno_man_but yeah but there are a lot of "educated" people who think just cus its dangerous and absurd to take a small craft across the ocean with no assurances of a destination actually existing or being reachable... nobody could or would have done it. They sailed to Africa and the Mediterranean, up rivers deep into Eastern Europe and the Middle East.... Why not to North America? Its sad how little faith and reverence many 'smart' people have for our ancestors. They doubt because modern sensiblities tell them its impossible... but people of the times were much stronger and far less risk-aversed than the sissies we have become today through technology, comfort and sheltering. Lol I would gladly be the guy who walked across unexplored America just to see whats there on the other side. Potentially die at sea discovering new lands? No problem. Risk death at the hands of savages just to meet them and learn about their world? I am in. I was born way too late. Its why I love RDR2 so much.
Not sure how secret the scientist and couple encounters are since they're NPCs literally shouting in the streets, but I've walked directly past that Old World Scripts rock like... at least 8 times and I'm always checking for things Arthur can mark in his journal. Also, I swear I stole one of those steamboats in open water one time and could not steer or operate it at all, so, nice! Glad to know this one can actually be driven because I probably never would have tried. And that Homburg hat would look really nice on a town outfit. Lots of good stuff here!
@@vicvvs6189 im at 100% but only missing 4 things in my compendium the Owl feather trinket from Rains Fall, rare bolt rifle, Macau and a snake which both can be found in Guarma at the time i played i didn't knew thet i could not come back. As for side missions all done random interactions all done. Challnges , Dream catchers , Pankreets, ciggarete cards u name it all done.
I killed a miner and when i looted him i got a newspaper clip about three brothers who had a treasure map and if you find a cabin where you can find the sketched map, you can also find a picture with three men in it so maybe thats their treasure map?
That crown bucket hat can also be found at Emerald Ranch. During the debt collection mission, occasionally the guy who runs away to go snitch on you is wearing it.
