Summary: 1.Mindset and clarity of goal 2. Stop eating at 7pm 3. 30 minutes of walking on treadmill with incline and weight training 4. Be consistent with exercise be focussed on respecting your plan 5. Drink your water. It is a flush to get rid of toxins. Prevents overeating. Fact we frequently eat when in reality we are actually thirsty. 6. Eat fruits and veggies. Avoid processed and prepackaged foods. 7. Portion control. No grazing . 8. Be optimistic. Stop being self depricating. Journal. Show self love. You are worth it. Be present. 9. Stop eating fast food restaurant fare. 10. One sweet a day if you have a sweet tooth. 11. Chew. Be conscious of your eating. You will eat less. Avoid eating in front of TV. 12. 8hrs of sleep. 13. ISO protein drink post workout.

Amen!!!! I’ve started my weight loss journey around Jan. 15, 2022! I started at 304🤦🏾‍♀️ .. my heaviest ever! I weighed today at 283🙌🏾🙌🏾👏🏾👏🏾 ! I am doing a lot of research and YouTubing!!! I read Motivational stories at Black Weight-loss Success.. I am doing there Meatless in March challenge. I drink a gallon in water a day!!! I’m eating smart. I’m meal prepping. I am starting to work out every morning before my prayer call and one small one before going to bed! One day at a time. I can do all things through Christ who strengthen me… AND the joy of the Lord is my strength. Blessings to you who are on this journey. I’m praying for you and with you! YOU CAN DO IT. I’m going to sit back and enjoy my loc journey and weight loss journey.

Congratulations on losing 13 lbs the 1st month!!! I don't know you, but i know the struggle and i just want to say "KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK" If you feel like giving up, be your own cheerleader and remember WHY you want to lose 55 lbs and keep pressing on.

👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿 I myself have lost 20lbs 😱 it kind of surprised me in the aspect people are noticing 😂 My rules for myself is 10k steps daily, calorie deficit, and do a peloton spin class at least 4x weekly ! Good luck sis !

1. Be mindful of how much sleep is healthy for you. If I sleep eight hours then I feel like crap. 7 hours works best for me. Focus more on a routine. 2. I listened to this NPR podcast about the science of weight loss and your body is working against you. Your diet is what loses weight but studies show that EXERCISE is what keeps it off. They recommended doing 1 hour per day to maintain. The podcast is called LifeKit 3. Focus on mindful eating and you’ll go far. You don’t want to spend the rest of your life scared of food. Trust me, it suuuucks

I have made small changes over the last year through IF and lost almost 25 lbs. I’ve definitely got to incorporate some weight training to tone up my body the way I want. Congratulations my youtube sister ❤️ so far only lost 20 pounds started at 246 as of December and now 225 as of today. I am doing 11000 steps per a day, gallon of water per a day,Pelton bike for 20 to 30 mins per a day and added jump roping challenge 😀

Way to go sis 👏 SO inspiring! I have the same bottle, I put a frozen lemon slice in it in the morning and just refill it throughout the day. I've also drastically reduced my bread intake. Congratulations Ms. J Beauty I am So happy for you. I have lost 7 pounds but it's like a big stop sign Now I have 27 more pounds to go To meet my goal. I am a older person. I eat a lot of veggies drink my H20 eat some fruit. My husband and I have start back Exercises 15 to 20 min a night. I am working on your goal to stop eating by 7 pm. I also need to get in bed early to get my proper rest also late nights are not good for me. Well good luck for you and me too. Can't stop Want Quick. Ms. J. I’m so proud of you👏🏾over the past year I’ve become a caregiver and I’ve gained 40lbs. Your video and progress is so motivating, I do intermittent fasting 11am-7pm, drink about 90oz water and walk 2-3 miles Mon-Fri. My blood pressure went up to 200😳. Yes we must be more loving and patient with ourselves. You Rock!😍😘

Good for you keep it up, I’m trying to lose weight too and being post menopause it’s really hard but I’m going to try. And with arthritis it makes working out a challenge but I can do it. So you go girl 👊🏼👍🏼

Look up intermittent fasting...I have seen many people in their late 50s 60s 70s and younger people lose weight on IF.

This video was recommended to me I think and after I watched it I had to subscribe. I have seen your face on Pinterest or RU-vid but had never been to your channel. Thanks for these tips. They are wonderful and real. The point you made about depression and overeating made me realize I was depressed a little while back and that I need to sleep more to not be impulsive. You have helped me a great deal and I hope we both exceed our goals. I just finished a 21 day nutrition plan and lost 6 pounds. I am very proud of myself. I am working on continuing with that plan and increasing exercising and fasting. I want to lose at least 40 more lbs.

Congratulations I’m determined to reach my goal grief and trauma contributed to me gaining 76 pounds over a 15 year period I topped out at 276 I’Ve started losing and am focused. I fell short and just came off a 2 week binge I’ve forgiven myself and realize it’s human and am back focused. It’s amazing how experiences affect how we eat. I binged not realizing unconsciously I was comforting myself from my baby sister passing away this time last year . I’ve redirected how I chose to deal with that grief and am continuing my journey.

Congrats on losing weight. You are such inspirational. I need to get on the right path due to health issues but I have to be physically and emotionally ready. Right now, I'm not but have been thinking about exercising (which will be a struggle due to my joints, etc.) and leaving processed along junk food completely alone. Just expensive to eat healthy!! 😩😒

I am where you started and I wish I would have kept up with what I was doing. But I am on a healthy path I just have to continue. My birthday is in June and I want to lose 65 pounds. I feel like that’s a stretch but any lose is good for me. Let’s GO!! Great video, you are an inspiration.

Guys,the more weight you have on you ,the easier it will be to shed some weight. If you only have 10 to 20 pounds to lose, it will be harder since our bodies like to store a little bit of fat .

Congratulations on your success! Trying to loose 100 lbs too. I've been doing keto, staying in calorie deficit, but not working out. Lost 30 lbs so far, but for the last month I haven't lost any weight even though I have been doing the same thing and my calories are already really low. I want to incorporate working out. May I ask what treadmill you use or if you could link it, it would be great?? Pretty please! :))

This is what I needed I just started trying to really loose weight I'm struggling with the exercise thought gotta work on that. I gotta loose 100lbs to reach my goal of 145 but taking one day at a time not trying to rush the process only wanna do this once.
