Road trip from Michigan to Texas in a 2022 Cadillac Escalade - right around 1300 miles in one day. Hear my thoughts about the car, and some footage behind the wheel I do not own the rights to the music in this video
Just the kind of video I need. I'm looking at this vehicle, and I regularly cross the Canadian/USA boarder, and stop in Michigan to pickup family, and we head west of Forth Worth. Nice video man, I'm getting closer to buying this vehicle
@@austin_does_stuff Well with the Escalade weighing about 300lbs more & having a thirsty V8 one would imagine so. You don't get the caddy for gas mileage surely 😜👍 Great vid by the way!
I'm super confused on how your range is 510 miles when I can't even get mine to go anywhere near 400mi of range. I have 23' with 10k miles. Looks like you were using regular gas as well. I've done quite a few all highway road trips in mine and have never seen that. It's so much better also with super cruise, if anyone is considering buying one. How come you don't use car play?
I think they are both better in their own way - the extended escalade being a better choice for growing families who do longer driving on the daily. The lexus being a better offroader and better for shorter trips IMO - the trunk space in the escalade is unmatched but its more difficult to park/drive around town.
People like this are actually haters. He did nothing but nitpick the vehicle the entire time, it’s clear what his agenda was. The voice command portion was hilarious. I would love to know how well this worked in his Audi, I owned a 2020 A6. Then claims his A8 has a superior sounding audio system. These German snobs are hilarious.
These modern engines will just take out timing once they detect spark knock, pre ignition, or detonation. Won’t hurt anything just reduce fuel economy and power.
