I've got a T90 in the same firesale. Picking up a 2 year lease for £90 a month! So far, not bad. A couple of odd points; I left the truck plugged in but unlocked. I came back to it after 3 days and it was dead and required a RAC call out. Turns out while off the 12v battery system will go flat if left unlocked, It cannot be charged by the main battery, until turned on...

Thanks for the update, glad it's going well. I was so tempted by the cheap deals at the end of last year but in the end had to face the fact that i don't really have anywhere to store something that size. So i end up with another vehicle with terrible ride quality, a BMW i3s.

Spotted my first T90 EV the other day and I have to say, they are rather big! It was a brand new 24 plate, so I don't know if the fella actually bought it or is just leasing it? Either way, he didn't seem too happy driving it around our tight, mini roundabout laden streets! I'm looking forward to the Carplay/Android Auto box review. My E-Niro will only connect to Android Auto with a cable and drops out every now and then, even on the Mrs S24. So I'm hoping a wireless connection with this box will provide a better experience!?

Great video again I blame you for my love of ev’s. My main focus on now having an ev that I can’t home charge is the costs of public charging and how much it varies by the different app I use and it can be as much as 30p per kWh difference!

I have one of these, and agree with everything you say, The only problem I had was my 7kw wall charger is a BG and it won't charge the car on a schedule 12:30 - 4:30, the only way I can get it to do it is to press the lock button on the keys to wake the cars CAN bus, which worked well, so I 3d printed a key holder for a switch bot to automatically press the lock button at 12:25 in preparation for the charger. It works ok but a bit ridiculous! but I was setting the alarm for 12:20 and doing it manually!!

There does seem to be a compatibility issue with some chargers - my Zappi works fine but I have heard of others having problems.

Got a couple of those AI boxes, they’re a bit of a hack as they basically rely on tricking the car into going into CarPlay usually have a few oddity’s/bugs. You can get ones that have their own 4G modem, did find some are quite sensitive to power as well the more powerful one I had didn’t like being on a longer cable nor did the power splitter in the box actually work with it 😂

Anyway they’re not a terrible option if you have CarPlay esp if the inbuilt satnav/infotainment isn’t very good

T90….If I recall the Russian tanks all started with a T. T42 etc, maybe they made the Maxus ? Would explain a few things !!

Bad handling of pickups unless loaded, is standard to all pickups, be they single cab or crew cab. They’re built to be cargo carriers, so their re suspension is stiffer than a car. Lorries are the same, they handle better when loaded. With all the things it doesn’t have and doesn’t do, It’s a Mickey Mouse pickup.

1500 miles in no faults. I own it and not paying benefit in kind taxes. Not pissing money away on merc or Range Rover ! Not missing petrol stations at £1.50 lt £8 for 200 miles on electric home charging. Massive attention with to as it’s so rare.

but towing what did that do to distance it will be good to see drive a route with and without a towing its big and heavy so would not be good,. miles to a kW ??? may be better than taycan. hehehe
