Oh please! Watch all of these videos and you will see that “Karen” is condescending and in denial and thinks she runs the show. The problem with “man hating” groups that she aligns herself with is she feels empowered. She needs to sit down and shut up.
The mother keeps talking about being broke but talks about all of these vacations, trips, family outings. The mother is a mess. She picked the kids up from school drunk and reconciled with her ex (the father of her young son) after he beat her several times and put her in the hospital while holding their child. The man that abused her is the man she is talking about in this hearing: Jason Day.
This goes to show how people that are trying to represent themselves just because they can't afford an attorney is belittled and ridiculed. Unbelievable how the Judge and Attorney presented themselves. This really ticked me off!!
“Mam, stop. Sit down.” So why didn’t the bailiff tell Dad and his lawyer to sit down? And they did BOTH laugh at her. And it was dropped pretty quickly once mom brought it up.
I’ve watched this whole series of videos- interesting viewing. Ms. Velesco is whiny and shrill and and has an enormous victim complex. She’s also unable to admit an error. That said, she’s got a reason to be upset. Ms. McKeller (who is an incredibly skilled attorney) has made several snide comments directly to Ms. Velasco, and spent most of their time in court acting almost as a co-judge rather than a lawyer for one of the parties. Which is the Judge’s fault, not hers- her job as an advocate is too push as hard as she can and take everyth8ng she can get.
Regardless of the history and the characters in this case, how is a person required to represent themselves without an attorney because they can’t afford one when the dude sitting with an attorney owes her $7500 bucks in back child support????. That don’t add up. What the fuck. These family courts are messed up.
I’m surprised this judge hasn’t been removed from the bench for having ex parte communications with the attorney in this case. I’ve watched other videos of this judge and he’s so unprofessional that he should be investigated immediately.
@@littlescott6162 Every case he presides over he is disrespectful and unprofessional. I worked on family court cases for over 30 years and never encountered such an awful judge.
@@CavieMom it’s interesting to hear your interpretation of his actions because I would have said the opposite. But I don’t have your background so I would have to say my judgement is based on what I think about the mother. Judges have to be neutral and be able to keep those types of rude behavior in check.
After watching this video, it is clear to me that the judge has a personal relationship with the female attorney. He acts so unprofessional and bias against the woman.
the judge made an interesting statement about talking about another case with a "lawyer", in most jurisdictions that would be know as ex parte communications, and it is not allowed or illegal. so the question is have they committed a crime.
I actually feel badly for her. She feels ganged up on. I will watch the rest of the trial, but from where I’m sitting the judge appears to be blowing her off.
