Great Job Pete!!!!! Was a Pleasure to meet you and the rest of the Peterborough Surrounding Crew Until Next Season THINK SNOW !!!!!!! TWISTED OUT............................
Years ago. We found the wind resistance from the driver and helmet choice can make for 2 to 3 mph at high speeds. A slightly taller windshield, rack angle to cut the wind will also help. Plus a sleeker helmet then those visor models. Nice to see you have the xtra wheel kits and hopefully the graphite slides or teflon ;-)
As usual Pete great time watching the boys dangle on there sleds . No Polaris or ski-doos to show you guys now it's done lol !! You real do hate Polaris and ski-doo your just afraid of them Ha Ha !! Just kidding around with you Pete thanks for well my beer and a show cheer's.
You had a nice day to make some passes. But spring has sprung and time to put the sleds away, or work on them I guess. I have some history with that lake. Two buddies of mine went through the ice 22 years ago. Only 1 got out.
@@rednecksdirtyhands that's awesome, I need to boost my BRP , I got the 1200 with the powderlites kit, I did deadbolts amd gasket, I'd love to come up and play on the lakes with you guys for a weekend.
Been waiting for a video from Pete 👍 wanted to see if you ditched the tranny fluid for a more Y chromosome friendly flavor. Was not disappointed . Manly things matter 👌 don't get me wrong some ladies can ride and wrench with the best of us but I'm just a traditional man.
Awesome Pete about time eh? Lol Just wondering if you're interested in working on a 08 Nitro. I'm pretty sure we're local if your anywhere near the cat shack.
I ran a best of 142.8 mph 2 years ago on the stock engine, stock turbo with a speed track on the race tune. This year I've been only running pump gas, and ran in the 142's on a trail track and pump gas. You have a good runner for sure, but not the fastest :)
@@rednecksdirtyhands I have gone with a big turbo now. Ran it 2 weekends on the stock engine. Best of 147.1 mph in 1320' on pump gas with a trail track with a bit of octane booster. Like you, ran out of conditions. Building engine over the summer to run big boost. Looking to get into the 160's.
@@rednecksdirtyhands Thank u pete Again very impressive love how u push the limit see much power stock motor can take. Im always pushing the limits because im not a rich man but want to be the fastest guy out there. So iv done some amazing stuff that friends people were laughing behind my back. But after all said and done they were crying 😭 after i whooped them lol!! Have I messed up blew engines bet ur ass I have but how I learned. Great stuff Awesome sled yomama very fast.
it ran a 134 last time we had it out but Iain was riding it and wasn't coming straight at the radar gun lol so might have actually been a bit faster? we have a video of it on the channel as well. 🍻
thanks! I've seen stock apex's run 100-105 in the quarter mile depending on conditions and like 115 or so flat out 🍻 but then again there's a fella we met with a 500 horsepower apex that runs 160+ mph in the quarter mile sooo...they definitely got some potential lmao 🤣🍻
Some day you will see going 1 or 5 mph faster than any one else in no big deal. It’s the fun you have with your friends that really matters. Because no one trail rides at140 mph it’s just bragging rights . One of my friend died trying to go faster on his sled 25 years ago.
I got a 2013 XF1100 turbo I find in deep snow it will ratchet even though it has the anti ratchet sprockets... I have tightened the track how much more should I tighten it any ideas I don't want to over tightened it.... but what is my best option thanks bud!
yeah it's hard to belive that it will still rachet even with the anti ratchet sprockets but I'd just try and run the track a bit tighter and use the dupont sliders so they don't wear as fast hope that helps 🍻
@@rednecksdirtyhands right I agree 👍 I think it was what 1 inch clearance with 15 lbs pull middle of the track... with a fish scale if I remember right now... I just do by hand usually and good enough but man it pulls hard this sled I think someone ecu the power up on it. Also it doesn't ratchet when on hard pack trail or in most cases in deep snow its okay. Only if I get really stuck and have to honk hard on it in the deep then ill get a few times where it jumps. I guess I'll tighten it more it definitely gets better the more I tighten it up...
there might be certain rules for some organizations and classes...but we don't really care about that and just wanna go fast!! 🤣 so I mean any little bit of help and light weight parts would always be an advantage 🍻
