"Wow, these crafts and inventions showcased in the video are truly remarkable! The skilled handyman's creativity and attention to detail are simply impressive."
Your connections with screws seemed to always be with tapered head screws when they'd have been stronger with flat head ones. Tapered heads will be drawn flush into soft wood, plaster board, etc BUT will only afford a circle of contact, and NOT be flush, with metal parts ... as opposed to a stronger surface of contact.
"Invention 1". Totally dumb, and dangerous. Anything with flexible tension, to grip contours, still has flex and will not be secure. This shows him putting a saw in the vice , clamping on a plastic handle, instead of on the metal blade between two solid vice jaws, is no where by any means secure, and Will be loose and come out, most likely injuring anyone who tries this dangerous mod. Seriously people, this is all click bate. "Building home made tools " is as this video demonstrates is unsafe. Hope there is some disclaimer on this guy's channel, and he has a good lawyer.
What? Who wouldn't love spending 4 hours to turn a perfectly good bench vise into a chunk of scrap metal. Although at 8:15, could use any length of straight rod and make a nice nut driving tool for a 3/8" or 1/2" drills
