@hemasookram, Yes, that is likely due to spasticity and/or high muscle tone. I hope you found my newest video helpful today. I also have another video coming out soon that is a real-time, daily hand stretching routine. ❤️ Thanks as always for your input! And if there's anything else you'd like to see, let me know!

huge help for my mother, our morning routine are your videos that she can do. we are working on building strength so she can stand on her own. right now she needs assistance. any advice on building strength for solo standing with a walker? thank you!
@PostStrokeOrg
@PostStrokeOrg 2 года назад
@facelift, I'm so glad to hear that. Continue working on leg, glute, and core strength. Those are so important to be able to stand. If she can even practice the sit to stand exercise, just getting her bottom off of the chair without coming all the way up to standing, that's a great full body exercise! ❤️

@stevekierstead the heel-to-toe exercise gets a lot of muscles involved as your body is trying to stabilize and keep you upright ☺️

Thank you so much for sharing the above video. Looks very helpful. Problem i face is i cannot raise my left knee as you have showed how to go about the exercise.. Also wanted to clarify if I need to wear braces . Size of braces ( which model) i should buy . Top of it my left leg knee just caves in.
@PostStrokeOrg
@PostStrokeOrg 9 месяцев назад
Thank you again for your kind words! 😊 Unfortunately, I can't answer if you should be wearing a brace or not. This would require an in-person evaluation with your doctor or therapist.
