A trip back through time to the perseverance reef mine, tucked away in rural NSW in deep jungle near the Mann River. This was only meant to be a waypoint on our way home and ended up being a full mine survey with all of our equipment.
The adit we discovered was driven in along multiple quarts lodes and reached a length of almost 600 metres when it was operational! In the working days of the main mine it would have been possible to enter via the portal and leave via the open stope and/or shaft at the top of the hill.
