I bought the haibike Lyke CF 11 recently, practically identical to the Vam, and for £4100, about 2k cheaper than the equivalent Vam I think. Comes in at 18.1kg with Xc tyres and no pedals, so a lighter bike doesn’t have to cost the earth. Did this for exactly the reasons you mention towards the end of the vid. A second bike for me had to be something very different to my FF for me to shell out the extra cash. It’s 7kg lighter than my FF bike and the FAZUA 430wh battery has the same range as the 800 in the FF due to the lower drag and weight, plus the battery comes out of the Lyke in 2 mins. A must for me on multi day trips and longer rides 😊

Emtb is going to sub 15kg mid power "trail bikes' as the best sellers within the next 2 years. You will not need such long travel to compensate for the extra weight of the bike. Nice review.

For the lower end model 17.1kg costing $12,499 AUD, yeah... Nah! when I can get a full powered Trek Rail 5 for $7499 AUD.
