I've been waiting for Canyon to put out a lightweight emtb. And now it's finally happened. We got to ride the Canyon Neuron:ONfly CF9. Here's the bike review and an introduction of the other models in the lineup.
See this article to study the details.

Reach isn't 460 mm for size L, it's 485 mm. That's longer than on the full-ft Neuron:ON. The effective top tube length is the same for the Neuron:ON and :ONfly, at 640 mm. Article: www.emtbforums.com/ams/the-lightweight-canyon-neuron-onfly-cf-is-here.96/

Hi, please could you let me know your feelings on the Bosch SX compared to the EP8, as you have experienced both. On a group ride, would it be hard work to keep up with riders using the Bosch CF motor when you are using the Bosch SF; your comments would be appreciated.

When riding with a group, I find the motor cut-off speed can make a big difference. The old EP8 (800) and the EP6 start ramping down the motor power before you hit 25 kph, and the motor power is gone long before 26 kph. The EP801 and Performance CX will still have some assistance above 26 kph. It doesn't sound like much, but it makes a difference on longer transport sections where people tend to ride at motor cut-off speed. As I haven't compared directly against the SX, and I haven't ridden an SX bike with a display yet, I really don't know. I'm hoping and expecting the SX to cut the power at the same speed as the CX motor. When riding uphill, motor power makes a noticeable difference. Some motors, usually full-fats will amplify the rider input a lot, allowing you to climb close to cut-off with little effort. I'm guessing if you're okay with keeping the cadence up, the SX could keep up with the full-powers in many situations. We're working on getting 3 bikes with the EP801, CX and SX to these kind of comparisons. Butit will be a few weeks.

Agree you can have a Mondraker Dune same motor 180mm 38 front forks and 170mm rear and the same weight 👍🤛 not good enough Canyon

Yeah, the Dune is looking good! But the entry NeuronOF is like €3k cheaper, so I guess it’s allowed to carry a bit more weight (:

Why damp the ride down having 29in wheels, nibble is 27.5 in

I like mullets too, bikes that is. Perhaps there'll be a SpectralOF!? That should have a smaller rear wheel.

@@EMTBVideos I know what I like, so my next bike will be custom made from Mi-Tech full 27.5 inch MGU belt drive.

It's quoted in the video, but it's been changed since the press event. €4.849 up to €7.999. www.emtbforums.com/ams/the-lightweight-canyon-neuron-onfly-cf-is-here.96/

A rather limited. under powered, heavy for category and expensive bike?

It's heavy for a superlight bike, but Canyon doesn't claim it's an SL. Regardless, other bikes with same motor+battery are lighter. But they're also more expensive. The NeuronOF CF7 is more than €1k cheaper than the entry Cube AMS Hybrid ONE44, and more than €2k cheaper than the base Mondraker Dune. I guess it's okay the CF is a tad heavier considering the price.
