Not bad for a first hunt your right it is a razor possible German Trias razor dates from around the 1900's the thing on the left is a possible old hot water bottle stopper hope that is of some help GH&HH
Hi. Thanks for watching. I have since found that the razor is a Maktor safety razor. They were based in Southwark and it was manufactured around the 1920's. Thanks Jason
Could the cylindrical thing be a sort of weighted valve for pressure cooker or thing to put in spout of kettle to make it whistle? I know Lucy who does the larking in Somerset found one but I cannot remember if she found out what it is. Thankyou for sharing.
Hey buddy, I have an equinox with a 6" coil too and do the Thames. Your the first equinox user I've come across. Feel free to join me sometime if you want .
You could actually run the sensitivity at about 10-12 and still get great results. You don't need depth. I always keep the iron bias low. If you put a rusty nail next to a ring on default iron bias ( 7 on 800 ) and swing over it you wont detect the ring. drop the iron bias to 2 and you will. GL&HH
The item at 15:01 is a boat plug (Drain Plug). Never seen Thames river from this view.. Been in London a few times. Interesting, but trashy I guess... M.
Been there, but didn't do that. Thats near whete the old #9 bus terminated, me auntie lived on Mortlake high street and me cousin(jason) worked at the brewery. We ain't related are we?
Good morning, how would you rate the Equinox against the Excalibur, i do have the nox 800 but was thinking of getting the Excalibur 2 for deeper water hunting...thanks for your time and would love to hear your opinion on this.
Maxrk Rose Thank you for the lovely comment. Unfortunately my mum had a stroke a few weeks ago so I’m currently diving my time between my mum in hospital, my family and work. I will get out again soon. Thank you once again my friend. Best wishes Jason.
Is there anything you can do in England without a damned permit. Is there nothing they don't have their fingers in? In the USA what we find we can keep and do not have to beg the govt to keep it. It blows my mind how eroded freedom is these days. Nothing against you, I feel bad for people who are being abused around the world, and now we are losing our freedoms as well. Great video. We don't have any state brewers, it is all civilian owned.
jon lennon I agree but unfortunately all land is owned by someone and you need permission to detect or search. I guess like most things it’s just another way to generate a tax. That said, the permit and policing does keep the undesirables away. Lol. Not forgetting that the river Thames was bombed hugely during WWII and unlicensed individuals digging huge holes pose a risk not only to themselves but also to innocent surrounding public. Thanks for watching. Try to forget the bureaucracy and enjoy the video. By the way, I worked for Budweiser for 11 years and loved every one of them. It was the first time I had returned to the site in quite a few years and quite sad for me. Jason. .
Treasure Jensen I only need them for reading. I never take them as it's very easy to ruin a perfectly good set of reading glasses whilst covered in sand or mud. Lol. Maybe I should get a magnifying glass on a string. Jason.
