According to Osteen, you've never been wretched or dirty, you just haven't figured out how awesome you are yet. Once a person comes to understand the New Covenant promised to Israel and Judah in Jeremiah 31:31-34, which is found fulfilled by Christ during the first century in Hebrews 8:6-13, and Hebrews 10:16-18, and specifically applied to the Church in 2 Corinthians 3:6-8, and Hebrews 12:22-24, man-made Bible doctrines fall apart. Let us now learn to preach the whole Gospel until He comes back. The King of Israel is risen from the dead! (John 1:49, Acts 2:36) We are not come to Mount Sinai in Hebrews 12:18. hey Betty, I appreciate your humility and quest for answers. I’ve only been a believer for 2 years, so I don’t want to give off the impression that I know everything - I still have a lot to learn. But I am almost certain that Copeland is a false teacher. The prosperity gospel that he teaches/defends goes against everything Jesus taught, and even what St. Paul said in 1 Timothy 6. I think Copeland’s ministry is quite dangerous, especially since it reeks of greed and materialism. Something isn’t right in my spirit when I see ministries like his. I've been drunk in the spirit. I didn't know what the heck was happening until my mom told me. We were having bible study and praying for a good 30-45 min and I opened my eyes and was super lightheaded and felt so peaceful and relaxed. They noticed me acting strange and asked me what's wrong.. I said I don't know I feel really weird.. And she said "I think you're drunk in the spirit" and I started crying and praising GOD. Such a great experience!

My whole family did when I was a child. I was saved 2 months ago and now the only Christian in the family. I have been ridiculed for my belief by family , and also found myself separating from them as much as I can. All this started happening before I even came across it in the Scriptures.
