This week we take a look into Kenneth Copeland, an incredibly popular wolf in sheep's clothing. If we don't point out the wolves, they'll continue to victimize the sheep.

Kenneth Copeland needs to be seriously confronted. He’s worse than Joel Osteen when it comes to money hungering… it’s not biblical in the slightest…

Did you hear about Osteens church building? They hired contractors to remove a wall and reconfigure an office. When no one was there, they came in to do it early. They removed the wrong wall. They had found millions of dollars built into a wall. He's just as bad, only Copeland is more aggressive. Every Friday is there day to pleade for money to help the poor people, which is really just a lie. Joyce Meyers has a fleet of Mercedes Benz and the most exclusive, valuable antique and painting collections, values at 40 million etc....some just hide their money better. Swiss bank accounts are untraceable. It's insane. They are all wolves. God Bless...🙏

I think he's demon possessed. I saw where he was saying he's God. He's so obvious in his false teaching and it makes my heart hurt listening and watching his followers fall into his leadership. 😢 A friend of mine likes watching TD Jakes. I told her he was a false teacher and she said I like listening to him because he makes me feel good. I don't want to feel good I want to be taught where I'm sinning and to keep me in line and show where and how I'm sinning so I can be a better following of God the Father and Jesus Christ His Son.

Next time she remarks about how he makes her feel good you should bring up the fact that sin usually makes us feel good as fallen humanity...addictions make us feel good like alcohol or meth or coke....should we indulge in those things because it makes us feel good? Just like a drug will destroy your life, a false teacher may destroy your eternity. Feelings aren't nearly as important as truth. Try if possible to debate points with your friend. You may wind up changing her mind.

when I’m praying for someone who let’s say has cancer, I feel like I’m using faith that God is going to heal them. Or I guess asking God if he will heal them. I’m trying to see the difference in what you’re talking about asking or using faith for something. I’m humbly trying to understand. My in-laws constantly are telling me they are claiming healing over my kids and speaking healing over them because they believe when they say that that God moves. But I’ve always been a little uneasy by that because it puts so much power in their hands. But then I also get unsure of how to pray because I’m always influenced by them. Sorry for the rant. 😊 they are Pentecostal assemblies of God.

This video was very 101, and simple surface level thoughts and explanations. Which is not generally how you guys approach these videos, so that stands out to me as an outlier. Was there just a lack of in depth researching into the Word of Faith movement? Or were you purposefully trying to talk to a crowd that has never heard of any of this before? I think the majority of your listeners are aware of WoF and KC both, so providing more depth would have been most beneficial. Much like you usually do in these videos.

@@jakebull2571 oh ok, sure I can give it a go, at attempting to articulate what I was thinking. So for me watching this video, it seemed to really give some real 101 info on KC and WoF, which is really assuming the audience has never heard anything about it before and therefore needs that first off foundational describing. But I think, and I could of course be incorrect, that the vast majority of the audience here is already fairly familiar with the cult sect. As it is sadly a dominating belief sect in America now, that goes directly hand and hand with all the NAR guys. The NAR churches and WoF churches are always co-mingling, and even are guest speakers for each other at their churches and conferences. So with that said, I don’t necessarily think that the 101 sort of definitions were the most necessary, though they weren’t pointless either, so it’s fine to provide them. But I think, when you chose to give so much of the 101 of defining it’s basis, you automatically are sacrificing time to digging into deeper points of the movement at large. The WoF is so exponentially more dangerous then debatably most cult sects, and I think it’s all because of their extreme nature of creating a church body of haves, and have nots. Because of what they teach and believe, anyone incurring any kind of suffering in their life, is made out to be living in “secret sin”, and their suffering is said to be proof that they aren’t right with God, and also that their faith simply is not much. So any Christian’s within their body incurring literally any kind of suffering, from physical ailments, family stress, job issues, financial struggles, or even just real bad luck like a car accident, literally all of these sufferers are pitted as a “have not”. The mere physiological damage it causes in those folks is tremendous. But more importantly, the spiritual damage. The rate in which people leaving this movement chose to abandon God completely, seems to be abnormally high compared to other cult sects. I I think it’s because their churches create such a utterly devastated Christian. First by becoming the local pariah at their local church, because they acquired a chronic ailment out of their control, and then being bombarded with everyone letting them know that it’s all their fault, if they only had bigger faith, and only tilthed more to their church, and if they only admitted to their secret sins… then “of course God would heal them!”. And then round two of their devastation, once they leave the cult, it’s the massive crumbling of everything they believed God to be, to suddenly be completely wiped out. “You mean God doesn’t always want me to be healed? You mean God doesn’t want me to be rich? You mean God doesn’t want me to be happy and healthy, and popular by all standards? You mean God doesn’t want me babbling in senseless tongues every time I pray? You mean my hysterical forced laughing, and throwing myself on the ground, and pretending to be overcome with those outward expressions is actually a massive insult to the God of self control??” And sadly, these people commonly feel like the real God is just nothing then. They are so devastated, and to them it feels like the real God is just plain Jane nothingness. And that’s in their ignorance of not knowing any theology yet, of course, but most don’t ever get into theology because they just walk away from it. They are very jaded, very bitter, and feel absolutely betrayed. Betrayed obviously by the people that lead them into the deception cult sect. But more interestingly, they commonly feel sort of betrayed by God too. Like it all was just such a huge lie, and their perceptions of that church are so strongly tied to what their perceptions of God were, they struggle to unlink the two. It’s also abnormally difficult to get anyone in WoF to look at any theological materials of any kind too. A simply YT video, or a book, or a AG dvd… all of it. These people are so trained by their leaders to reject any outside materials, that they just immediately dismiss anything you try to share with them. Even if it’s not even of the rebuking nature, it could be a very passive info stream, but they just reject literally everything that’s not blatantly from their teachers. And along with that, they are the most quick sect to demonize anyone who tries to speak any kind of biblical truth to them. They will straight up snap at you, and start attacking your character, without hesitating! It’s vile, and the most extreme response compared to any other cult sects. And because of these things, it seems nearly impossible to evangelize any of them. Anyone that has ever tried to talk to a WoFer has probably quickly learned of their nasty whips, and felt very discouraged, very quickly. I recall one time Mike Winger responded to exactly this question purposed to him by me, and he said honestly… it’s so hard, I don’t even know what to tell you. He agreed that WoF tends to just demonize people, and that’s it’s actually quite dangerous territory to try to push into it. After Mike said that to me, I found it interesting that even his experiences with them as a pastor, was exactly the same as mine. And we don’t really have much for help on that exact topic online. Majority of discernment channels barely touch WoF, and nearly no one touches on how the heck to break through to any of them! Not one really talks about it at all, and seemingly, people aren’t really doing it either. And take for example, Andrew Womacks school in CO called Charis College. He’s fleecing a ton of ignorant teenagers coming to his “Bible college”, thinking they will be leaving with valid degrees, having no idea that none of it is valid, and it’s a cult school where no normal church will ever recognize their schooling as valid. The same with the slightly older school Rhema Bible College, which is a tiny thing, that seemingly no one has even heard about. But they sure pump out a lot of biggish names we hear about. Most of the leaders of the WoF churches today came straight from Rhema. But why has no one heard about that school? Why is that not on anyone’s radar, or being discussed? Why aren’t we trying to saturate some of the YT search engine, for people looking for info about Charis or Rhema because they want to go to school there once they graduate, why don’t we saturate it with discussions of them being a cult sect, and not real biblical Christianity? Those schools are just running uninterrupted, even on the YT space, where people supposedly make videos about everything. But what I see, is for some reason, people kind of don’t touch WoF!! And why? That’s the intriguing part here. Why is it not getting touched on, or even better smashed and ground down to a pulp! So when a 17 year old searches for it on YT they find a video discussing the cult school, right next to the promo ad that Andrew Womack posted, or the one Kenneth Copeland did when he was their guest speaker last year. Ok ok I’m really rambling now, lol, but those are just some thoughts. My in laws are WoF church owners in multiple states. My husband was raised in this, and still struggling with accepting truth now, even years later. I have nieces and nephews going to their colleges. So for me, it’s definitely personal. But also for me, it’s a gut wrenching disgusting sight to witness at every single family gathering, because I have to hear them demanding my God. Bossing him, commanding him, and arrogantly speaking in such a way that just twists your gut into knots. It’s gross, and it’s hard. Especially knowing that I’m dealing with their church leaders… not followers. So I don’t know if any little bit there might have been a helpful new idea, or totally not at all, lol. But I gave it a go! Have a good night and God bless. 🙏🏽♥️ Also, I appreciate your willingness to engage constructive talk with me Sir. 🙏🏽

I will say that apart from specific individuals in the church, giving consistently is still a very biblical principle. Malachi 3:8-10 Will a man rob God? Yet you have already Me! But you ask, ‘How do we rob You?’ In tithes and offerings. You are cursed with a curse, yet you-the whole nation-are still robbing Me. Bring the full tithe into the storehouse, so that there may be food in My house. Test Me in this,” says the LORD of Hosts. “See if I will not open the windows of Heaven and pour out for you blessing that is without measure. Yes, this is an Old testament reference however the principle still applies. 2 Corinthians 9:7 Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.

The Apostle Paul pronounced a curse on most churches today because the main Christian denominations of today preach a different gospel than what Paul preached. To quote exactly what Paul said, “But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.” (Galatians 1:8). Both apostle Paul and Peter preached the same gospel and quote from the prophet Joel (2:32) saying, "For whosoever shall call upon the name of Yahweh shall be saved." (Romans 10:13 and Acts 2:21). The English translations say “Lord” instead of “Yahweh.” But “Lord” does not translate “Yahweh” it is a substitution of a totally different word altogether. This substitution activates two additional curses because if you substitute a word you are both adding and subtracting at the same time. “For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.” (Revelation 22:18, 19) We are commanded by Messiah that, “...repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.” (Luke 24:47). In other words, we are supposed to preach the gospel that came out of Jerusalem and not preach the gospel that came out of Antioch, or Rome, or England, or New York, or Chicago, etc. By the time the gospel got to Antioch it had already been perverted as we read, “...And the disciples were called Christians first in Antioch.” (Acts 11:26). The problem with this is that YHWH spoke of a people called by His name (Deuteronomy 28:10; 2 Chronicles 7:14; Isaiah 43:6, 7; Daniel 9:19; Amos 9:12; Acts 15:17). YHWH did not choose the name “Christian” for Himself. The people of Antioch chose that name and all the so called main denominations of today embrace that name “Christian” for themselves. When Peter and Paul preached the gospel they quote the prophet Joel, “Whosoever shall call on the name of YHWH shall be saved.” (Joel 2:32; Acts 2:21; Rom. 10:13). The English word "Lord" is not a translation for the name YHWH but is a substitution. I ask you, how many of the church fathers and so called main denominations of today preach that gospel? None of them. Absolutely none! “Blessed are those servants, whom the Lord when He comes shall find watching: verily I say unto you, that he shall gird himself, and make them to sit down to meat, and will come forth and serve them.” Some people say that they are watching all the time but they overlook verse 38. “And if he shall come in the second watch, or come in the third watch, and find them so, blessed are those servants.” (Luke 12:37-38). Under normal circumstances people are sound asleep during the second and third watch. Therefore Luke 12 is not talking about watching in a figurative way. The LORD is talking of a literal watch. There are appointed times in the scriptures for us to fulfill a literal watch. In fact, all of the appointed times of holy convocations (moedim) listed in Leviticus 23 are watches and vigils of Yahweh. Each one of them are fulfilled by both an Old Testament and corresponding New Testament historical event. In other words they will be assembled together in a holy convocation and not out and about driving cars and flying airplanes. Like the 120 were assembled in the upper room Acts chapter 2 for the Feast of Weeks (Pentecost). Unfortunately, because of a man-made ecclesiastical calendar many will not be watching at the appointed time when He comes.

@Apologia Studios Jeff Durbin. Can you explain the unpardonable sin? Is cursing the Holy Spirit in anger or calling Him a liar the unpardonable sin? Or calling Him evil out of confusion? I was a professing Christian at the time. I have committed horrible sins. I can remember saying horrible things to Christ and God and The Holy Spirit. I also said I reject Him as my Savior. The only thing I'm pretty sure I didn't do was attribute His miracles to satan (I was on some heavy meds, methadone and my memory on that one is a little clouded) I have since come back and I've confessed and I believe I've repented (although I obsess over whether it is genuine because there is no forgiveness for that sin), but it still haunts me. I watched a video from James White on it but I could use some elaboration. Doug Wilson said its a moral inversion but I dont see how he sees it in the text. Please help me😢

You can't do anything to make what Jesus did on the cross less valuable. The unpardonable sin was what the Jewish Rabbis did to Jesus. They knew all the signs to look for, and denied Him straight to His face, they absolutely knew who he was and rejected Him. They are the only people that could commit that sin. I thought I did the same thing years and years ago... then a Jewish man that came to Christ explained it to me. Don't let that bog you down with your walk with Jesus... you didn't do it because if you did God would have no need for you anymore and you wouldn't be here. God needs you to let it go so you can live for Him. From someone who's been where you're at! ❤ Listen to Chuck Misler or Dave Hunt or David Wilkerson... they have passed away but were 100% on bible teaching. I grew up with most of my family loving Kenneth Copeland and thinking his teaching was great. But this crap is part of why I left the church after high school. It took God 14 years to even begin to turn me around (2006), another 2 years to get me introduced to Reformed theology, and all these years later I'm STILL learning and DEEPLY regret all the years I wasted in the world. My grandfather, one of the best, most Christ-like men I've ever known, went to his grave thinking Copeland was a good teacher. If he's saved, it's IN SPITE of Copeland, not BECAUSE of him. Much of my family is STILL caught in the Copeland-type grasp that they THINK is Christianity. It breaks my heart, but I can only hope they're saved despite being doctrinally wrong. Needless to say, I have nothing but deep contempt for Copeland and everyone like him.

Just remember this basic principle, we are not saved because of perfect theology. Poor theology if it goes far enough can change the means of salvation away from Jesus (mormans/JWs) but most people in WOF camps are true beleivers in Jesus Christ as lord and savior from their sins. As far as Copeland - that's a different story because the word does say teachers will be judged with a higher standards.

You will always be shoulder to shoulder with some who are still lost and so it is that to reach them with the good news ( you can be freed from sin, you can be born again by the spirit a son of God) of the gospel of Jesus Christ who came down to earth as a man and died in the flesh and then rose again! Those who believe in Christ Jesus receive eternal life. Satan would love to weaken Christians by having them believe they remain sinners and remain having dirty rags righteousness. However St Paul’s dirty rags righteousness was the form that made him murder the early saints. That was his pre-saved self righteousness. His saved righteousness is the very righteousness of Christ & so it is for all the elect. Amen

PETER 2 But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction. 2 And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom, the way of truth shall be evil spoken of. 3 And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not. 10 But chiefly them that walk after the flesh in the lust of uncleanness, and despise government. Presumptuous are they, self-willed, they are not afraid to speak evil of dignities. 11 Whereas angels, which are greater in power and might, bring not railing accusation against them before the Lord. 12 But these, as natural brute beasts, made to be taken and destroyed, speak evil of the things that they understand not; and shall utterly perish in their own corruption; 13 And shall receive the reward of unrighteousness, as they that count it pleasure to riot in the day time. Spots they are and blemishes, sporting themselves with their own deceivings while they feast with you; 14 Having eyes full of adultery, and that cannot cease from sin; beguiling unstable souls: an heart they have exercised with covetous practices; cursed children: 15 Which have forsaken the right way, and are gone astray, following the way of Balaam the son of Bosor, who loved the wages of unrighteousness; 16 But was rebuked for his iniquity: the dumb ass speaking with man's voice forbad the madness of the prophet. 17 These are wells without water, clouds that are carried with a tempest; to whom the mist of darkness is reserved for ever. 18 For when they speak great swelling words of vanity, they allure through the lusts of the flesh, through much wantonness, those that were clean escaped from them who live in error. 19 While they promise them liberty, they themselves are the servants of corruption: for of whom a man is overcome, of the same is he brought in bondage. 20 For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning. 21 For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them. 22 But it is happened unto them according to the true proverb, The dog is turned to his own vomit again; and the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mire.

In another one of your videos you condemned people for saying these things because in your view, saints are unrighteous sinners with no blessings from above and no power and no eternal life. I think that is Satan’s desire to teach a type of powerless and useless and sin filled salvation and so that is the real false teaching to be watchful against. Let us boast in Christ because salvation in Him is a blessing, is life changing, is righteousness , is wonderful, is freeing from all sin.

So you're saying God doesn't heal anymore? I could say the same thing about Paul the apostle - he left his friends and ministry partners sick even though he had a gift of healing. Jesus himself left likely hundreds of people sick at the pool of Bethesda and healed only 1 man. Why is that? Maybe because the gifts of the spirit, work as the spirit wills! This is how it was back then, and that's how it is now still. This is why charismatics don't go empty out hospitals. They didn't do it in the time of Jesus or the Apostles either.

@@beaberean3286 The fact that Paul no longer healed people in his old age is a sign that he no longer had the ability. The apostles had superpowers from God that we do not have today, an honest analysis of our reality shows this clearly. God can heal through our prayers if it is His will but a direct laying on of hands with immediate effect does not exist today. Claims of gradual improvement from colds or other diffuse diseases I do not compare with the powers of the apostles. These healings that they did were mainly to be a sign to the unbelievers and therefore the recovery should have happened immediately so that it could be witnessed.
@beaberean3286
@beaberean3286 Год назад
@@mrp3418 Thats completely assumed. And no they were not superpowers...Let scripture interpret scripture. The Apostles did not use these gifts at will, 1 cor 12 says the gifts operate AS THE SPIRIT WILLS. There are absolutely instances of people around the globe who have been instantly healed when hands are laid and then they come to salvation...but this only happens by the spirit of God. God gifts individuals with these things as part of his sovreign will for moments in time as HE desires. According to you, the Apostles had freedom to heal whoever they wanted whenever they wanted like they were superheroes, but that's clearly not what the scripture teaches or shows. You need balance. This is why I believe in the gifts of the spirit for today but understand why we don't see 100% success. It's still based on God's infinite wisdom.
