Thank you all of this was very useful i never sent out care packagee before always wanted to so this year i ordered 6 priority mail boxes to our military , i dont have anyone in the Military but i want to help other families who do! I hope they find you well military men and woman thank you for serving our country!
God yes... flip flops. Or as we used to call them "shower shoes." On a ship with hundreds or thousand of men crammed into tight living accommodations using shared bathroom (head) and shower facilities those are an absolute must. I still remember the time I got off watch one night at sea on the USS Caron and went to take a shower. Stalls had only minimal partitions and they did not run to the deck which meant that water from each stall moved from one to the other with the motion of the ship. And there were gaps between the bulkhead and the partition which meant you could see around the partition if so inclined. On this occasion it was late at night and the adjoining stall was occupied by one of the ship's air crew who apparently was completely oblivious to my presence since I noticed (unavoidably) that he had apparently decided to stop off at the gas station of love and was using the self service pump. I think that may have been the fastest shower I have ever taken in my life.
I think the worst is not having a spare pair of head phones. they break, sweat, or they are misplaced/stolen. cheap headphones to cover until the next port will always come in handy. also sause packets from random fast food joints . I do love taco sauce sauce taco Tuesday.! great share I'll be needing packages in july :) boost my moral !!
We would destroy Oreos. Don’t send skittles, we get way too many skittles. Oreos, Reese’s, and coffee-all we needed. Also knitting became popular on deployment

I have seen people receive cookies and other baked goods. They were sealed in a bag and stored in a tin can. Hopefully this information helps. I’m sure it will make your sailors day!
In any and every decision you make in life, no matter what it is make sure it aligns with God and not with the world. God is way bigger than anybody and is far more powerful so don’t get so caught up on trying to please “men” and do things for them, but rather do things for Jesus Christ our Lord and savior. Remember we as humans must live through God. Each of us has a purpose in life that needs to be accomplished. Always keep your focus on the Lord and not worldly things. Worldly things hold no true value.❤️ Colossians 3:23 “And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men.”❤️
