I love your artwork very much. My only comment about the videos is the speed painting. I agree completely with the comment below. Really want to see every frame of your painting. Many artists use speed painting and it can be very frustrating for the artists that are wanting to study techniques and who really like myself want to see every detail and every technique you use. Thank you for offering to share your amazing talent
Thank you ... I am happy some people want me to slow it down... You can click on the gear in the bottom right on your computer or the 3 dots on the top right on your mobile and you can change the speed at least a little bit slower... so many people want to speed through them too! LOL
Thank you so much for the tip. I absolutely had no idea. I ❤️ every painting you have done.I No one can please everyone. LOL with a chuckle. Have a happy, healthy and blessed day. Praying for everyone affected by Florence. Praying you stay dry. Appreciate your acrylic gifts to us very much
What a beautiful set it's funny because the other one I saw a purple eyeball up towards the middle left and then you said alien looking flower I just started laughing really beautiful set would look so pretty in a bedroom oh I bet they really look gorgeous with resin finish so pretty thanks for sharing
LOL...Dawn I cannot even duplicate it! I tried to get it to look like the first one and you see how different it looks... different day and the paints act differently... there are no two alike! Happy painting!
Ditto with Lindee! Some artists don’t go through to the end of their painting. I’m not sure why.Perhaps they think they’re done, are in a hurry, trying to meet a deadline, or just don’t know better, but it’s the last 10% that finishes the painting! That’s why we would like to see your embellishments. Your last 10%!
Have you ever used creative inspiration acrylic medium, polymer gloss medium? I ordered some with some creative inspirations paint, but it doesn’t seem to work as well as floetrol. Any advice you have would be greatly appreciated. Love to watch your videos and have learned so much from you.
Thank you Kim.. I use Creative Inspirations acrylics... But when it comes to pouring medium... I am usually going to use the 1:1 ratio of paint and Floetrol (or Owatrol, which is the same, just European). The only other medium I use is the new DecoArt Pouring medium when I use DecoArt paints specifically with it. I think gloss medium is to add to paint to kind of make it a bit more transparent and glossy for regular acrylic art (not pour painting)
Noticed on this new video you sped up most of your detail work where you go in and artistically manipulate your painting. Please Please Please don't make this your "new standard". I realize letting us see all your detail work makes for a long video - but those of us who are striving to create a picture with more than just luck and a quick pour, and are really looking to learn - get so much out of seeing how you tweak everything. You have such an incredible "eye" for what can be made better with a tweak and myself and others are learning so much about how you use your tools - standard and crazy. I''m not sure you envisioned yourself as an art teacher - but I see it. So my vote is - let us see ALL the detail work. AND for those who don't care to see it - let them fast forward thru that section. THANKS for another great video!
Thank you Lindee...LOL I know...I don't want to bore people to tears. You can click on the little wrench on the bottom right and change the speed down to the lowest setting and it will slow it down a bit... the pour sometimes may take a few hours. I appreciate you saying that about me teaching. I am prayerfully looking for a spot to have a studio and be able to offer classes and then maybe I can also do some online tutorials as well... with the proper set up...
