Item facts:
-Made in Germany by Gebrüder Jauch in the late 1930's
-harmonic 4 rod bim bam striking (a little out of sequence)
-"Eka" trademark
-original key
-perfectly working order
-hands are shaped like fir branches

It does sound quite amazing! The "EKA" maker just assembled clock parts they ordered from others such as Jauch etc

Interesting... It's like the bim-bam version of the four-rod strike on their triple chimer wall clocks. Seems the sequenceof the strikes is reversed, though I don't know enough about how bim-bam striking works to figure out exactly why. Are there two lifting wheels that pick up the single and triple hammers at different points? If so, I can see why this is happening. Either way, a lovely-sounding clock indeed!

It is a little wrong but not reversed. Usually it should drop the lower hammers right when it stops, most of the time it also does that but sometimes they're stuck in that posotion and you need to push then down or wait for the next half hour
