When dolphins are in a big group like that they will even surf with you too. They will zig zag under your board and jump out of the water next to you on the wave. They are like a bunch of playful kids to me.

Hey mate, I've been doing a freshwater related honours project at University of Canberra (very happy to see you over here, even if it's only been WA so far) over the last couple of months, and I just wanted to say watching your videos has been a wonderful way to remind myself (while I've been stuck to a microscope) how fun the aspects of ecology which I haven't been able to focus on are. I've just been digging into the podcast lately, and it really resonates, hoping to see it pop up on spotify or soundcloud for more convenient listening. Love your work Joe, keep it up!

The goannas and other monitor lizards are carrion feeders which means thier mouths get full of bacteria that specialises in eating open wounds and decomposing flesh, the bunny would have slipped ino septic shock and coma in the next few hours. The goanna knew this, hence why he's waiting patiently near the dunes.

The blooms! Unfortunately, most people toss in the trash when blooms or done, or they drown it before then. I had one as Jan 2017. . Now I've got 26. 😂. 21 are basically rescues. Got 'em for $2 -$5 off the discount rack in the back of Lowe's, Home Depot and 2 nurseries. Once blooms drop (6-8 weeks for me) they can't sell them. My most expensive was a big pot of Cattleya with only 1 bloom stalk when I saw it. Wasn't paying $75 for it! Started checking weekly (nursery in 6-7 figure neighborhood had free coffee which was good, so... 😎) and sure as shit, after blooms dropped, it got red tagged for $15! I split into two, repotted and it's just started blooming for me again, 2 nd time. Big blooms remind me of bearded Iris. Yeah, that's why and they are con artists.
