In video 1894 we'll look at a new (old stock) Zeiss Ikon Corona padlock that Hans Christian sent. Tough little lock full of security pins for only 9 Euros (about $11 US). Too bad Master Lock can't manage to make a lock of this quality.

There have been a lot of times where I've disassembled an old car or tractor engine & found etched fingerprints from whomever had built or previously worked on it. Usually on the very top of the piston sleeves or edges of bearing surfaces. The acid on a person's fingertips, reacts with a lot of different alloys & leaves a permanent signature behind.

OMFG this Covid - 19 stuff needs to F off as this is nothing related to it. I get that warning on some other videos that are nothing but technical and Corona is mentioned as a Corona Discharge when you use Electricity as a negative Ion generator

I've noticed on some Best Locks, at least 2 out of every 10 locks - I always pick them to control before the key shear.

I’m not sure where it was made either but my Zeiss icon with a Carl Zeiss lens camera is made in Germany. It has the exact same logo

It all depends upon your preference & whether or not the pick you're using can reach up & around the warding high enough to set the pins.

Yup. As long as you are not oversetting pins and cat move the pins up high enough to set them, it is personal preference. Usually I starts with the pick I want to use, and the lock tells me to do something different.
