Good to see you back on the MD, good hunt, anytime I go metal detecting on beaches I end up chasing something so much you end up with a swimming pool, great video gl &hh😀👍
Good straight video as usual. I"ve tried the 15 inch coil---not very happy so back to the standard coil which suits me with better, positive balance. Cheers !
Hi Michael. I'm really not a fan of the 15 inch coil as well. The weight doesn't bother me too much although it does affect the balance as you say. I just find the pinpointing a pain. I guess practise would make perfect but I too will be back to the 11 inch next time. Have you tried the 6 inch coil. Now that really is a fantastic little coil. Perfect for rocky and iron infested sites. HH mate Jason
Hello mate just replying to you on the ring. Somehow RU-vid will not show your comment when I click on it. I think the ring is going to Horsham museum. Hopefully with all the research Jennie Hartwell did. So much Sussex history
Nice one jason mate that beach is detected a lot. Try using the f2 setting so much easier to i.d bottle tops. I have run it as high as 9 and still found coins. Take care buddy
Hey man thanks for the video, just got myself the equinox 800 watching your vids hehe ;) can I ask where you got that sand scoop looking to get one myself 👍 PS (Posted same message on another video of yours in error sorry for spamming)
I bought it off ebay. Here is a link to the seller.www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Best-Beach-Sand-Scoop-Metal-Detecting-Tool-Stainless-Steel-1Year-Warranty/274158772363?hash=item3fd522e08b:g:x28AAOSwn8FXR27c
Hey man sorry last question, just tried the sand scoop and it is awesome, thanks so much, however my shaft snapped after a while, in fairness it was a cheap one, are you using a specific one, is it fibreglass? Sorry for all the questions but I am struggling to find one just on google and I rather go with one tested. Thanks for your time Alex
Don't use fibreglass, they are no good. I use a wooden marine boat hook which is cut down. I have then provided by a friend. However, when this one breaks I will be upgrading to carbon fibre.
