I think one of the saddest parts about this is that Bonnie and Clyde weren't buried together side by side. They are in the same city, but different cemeteries
I watched a bootleg of this and I balled because The scene for this has them knowing they’re going to die and I’m just in tears. Laura and Jeremy kill in this...
Some day, they'll go down together. They'll bury them side by side. To few, it'll be grief, To the law a relief. But it's death for Bonnie and Clyde. Seems you get to live your life just once If that's how it's gotta be Then I'd rather breathe in life Than dusty air Dyin' ain't so bad Bonnie & Clyde: Not if we both go together Only when one's left behind Does it get sad But a short and lovin' life... A short and lovin' life... A short and lovin' life, that ain't so bad
listening to this first time going in, havent heard the soundtrack at all, have barely any knowledge about bonnie and clyde thanks to the wonderful american education system aND I WAS MOVED TO TEARS
Angiedoesminecraftasf So I know you made this comment, like 2 years ago, but still. I'm pretty sure you don't want to be buried next to the real Bonnie, because honestly, l love this musical, but the writers made them seem like better people than they actually were
I'm fine until they both sing, then I'm a crying mess, the way she sings this one is so angelic and then him joining in just makes it worse, because at this point they're both so vulnerable as they know their days are now very few
The beginning of the song, the spoken part(spoken by Bonnie, not Blanche, just so you know)is a real poem that the real Bonnie Parker wrote, if that was your question, then yes, its Bonnie's actual poem that she wrote (in real life).
