What a year it has been. I was able to fly a 1936 Ryan ST from Ohio to Alabama. A new owner recently bought this Ryan in the Dayton Ohio area and I was blessed enough to ferry the aircraft to him. This Ryan is the only ST flying in the world. I made this video to talk about some of the flying characteristics and to do a walk around. #aircraft #Pilot #aviationlovers #vintageaircraft #deweydavenport #grandchampion

This plane was once owned by my Uncle Ev Cassagneres. I remember it as a child…good memories. It looks beautiful!

Very fine. My favorite bird. Working on my 2nd model at 1/4 scale. First one is a 1/6th scale…sounds like They fly the same as full size!

I saw one in Santa Paula many years ago. Turned out she'd been "restored" from a few remaining bulkheads and a data plate. Still a beautiful aircraft though.
