Telling about some problems that were in a typewriter I bought locally, which I payed around $75 for, thinking it wouldn't have any mechanical issues: BAD ASSUMPTION! These machines are tanks (indestructible) though, and motivate me to write! I now have both the elite and pica font versions. Luckily, I had a parts machine on hand to fix this, or this typewriter would've been an expensive paperweight .
