The Stinger was a board with features that made it really fun to enjoy in the city like the Meepo Flow. Both boards were satisfactory, but if you have more room on a budget and want more power and a longer range, the Stinger might be a good choice too.
This board with the air tires has to be perfect. I got the mini 3 pro and did the air tire conversion and its just an amazing board all around. I did move my rear trucks forward to keep my kicktail working. I wish this board was available when I got the mini 3 because it looks like more of what I was going for which was a kicktail, big battery, smallish board. I may get the deck and swap mine.
Hi Vince, Remy here. I’m hesitating between buying an Evolve Onirique (basically a Omakase deck) or buying a Tynee Stinger LE and a Omakase deck, which would be a much cheaper option but a less refined product than the Onirique. Plus some DIY parts… I,m curious to have some informations about the easiness of the deck swapping. Did the battery enclosure fit nicely under the Omakase? Are you happy of the result?
Nice vidéo 🎉 the picture of the board with the all-terrain wheels is mine haha. with this option you absolutely need tkp trucks to avoid the wheelbit. With at wheels when you use kicktail the bash guard doesn’t touch. the board is then completely different with tkp trucks. I like it a lot, for me it is by far the best kicktail board on the market. I have a stella mini and I had a challenger, a stella s1, and I also tested the tynee mini. The stinger is top 1 and acedeck mini top 2
@KAMiJUINs love your videos! your style is very informative and relaxing. I especially appreciate that you take them apart to show the insides- after seeing your video i'm going to take apart my stinger to put a tracker tag inside the enclosure :)
I put the Waterborn surf adaptor on the Stinger and it’s amazing. The rear bracket won’t fit because of the battery case and you need the extender on the front for the same reason. The carves are insanely good. Makes me feel like I’m surfing perfect waves.
⚡🤙🏼🤙🏼⚡ *My dream finally came true!* Stinger & Flow in a Kami Juin video!! 🤩🤩 I love the music choice! 🔥🔥 Risers are CHUNKY 😮 I knew it was thick but wow, I'd replace them 😁 3-10mm max. Wiah they used flat head screws not dome head ones, might feel them with some shoes if foam grip and shoes are soft I really like the deck shape but prefer the overall design of the Flow, if the Flow had this shape I'd be happy 😂 Ultimately there are nice differences between them so people can make a choice based on needs and preference. Super interestin differences in gearing, EAC current and motor power! I prefer power effiency, not torque so Flow is better for me. I would have picked Stinger but Flow is the right choice for me... fate/luck made a great choice for me! 😂 I love my Flow. Stinger is great for those wantin more torque and more range. Their names suit them well. Ouch about the 360 cam 😱 This was joyful to watch!! I found out many new things and it helped me figure out which is the better choice for me, I don't need to wonder anymore, thank you bro!! 🤙🏼🤙🏼
Yes, I hope it helped you a lot as much as you've been waiting for. Personally I was sorry this video didn't have more clips as the camera broke, but I'm glad you enjoyed it.~ Thank you as always, bro :)
Yo kami Do you tighten those dkp trucks before your top speed run? Also enjoyed that music alot...think I'll play it back in my truck system Thnx 4 review
I do like the deck more than the flow but it does look too high, if you removed the risers would you still get wheel bite with the cloud wheels? Always better to have a lower c of g
Great video and great board. This is just BEGGING for a deck swap with a mini-longboard commuter deck. I have an Arbor Zeppelin Flagship and I've been waiting for a company to release a board with an enclosure that would fit and this absolutely will. Swap out for TKP trucks (that I can hopefully drop-through) and I'll finally have my mini-longboard super commuter 😍 Edit: If you have any 33" mini-longboards laying around, maybe you can make a DIY video out of it and try it out 😏
Awesome review. Thanks! I don't get why the ride height is 20mm taller than the Meepo Flow when they have same size wheels and trucks(?) and the Stinger has wheel wells? Have you tried removing the risers to check if you get wheel bite? It should work, no?
Thank you for watching :) I don't think there will be any problem with the front truck removing the riser pad, but I think the rear will have wheel bytes.
If you can't use the kicktail without hitting the motors, how do you normally pick it up? Like, from the rear/motor cage thing? Can you hold it by the rear motor cage or truck and drag it by the front wheels?
@@KAMiJUINs sorry just another question, these new small boards seem to have some crazy specs, this one uses the same 6368 motors that a Hadean uses with 80amps supplied from the ESC, that’s some serious power on paper, does it actually perform as fast as these AT boards like the Hurricane and Hadean?
Gear ratios and wheel size are also things to consider, but assuming both use the Stinger's wheels and pulleys on the Hurricane, it's likely to be similar or the Stinger will be just a tiny bit weak.
Thank you, Your very Good. I Like carving like waves as i am a surfer first. I feel this board could be a good pairing to my style, what are your thoughts K
@@KAMiJUINs so normally we have the 2 motors next to each other.. but I was thinking if there was just one motor long enough to do the same thing. A double ended motor for the 2 wheels if that makes more sense.
@@KAMiJUINsI'd be curious to hear your thoughts. I love the look of this board but where I live the roads are filled with cracks and super bumpy so I'd probably ask for the pneumatic wheel option.
I have stinger with pneumatics wheels for the same reason, 200% more confortable but you will loose range and you have to change for tkp trucks but it’s fine 👌
These types of boards have a similar structure because the motor is mounted on the back of the hanger using a DKP truck. So it's difficult to fully use the kicktail
