This being the 50th video featuring this '51 Chevy, I thought a recap was in order. Also, rust repair and mods to the inner fenders are completed and epoxy primed.
Not sure what accessories you have planned ahead but i had to get some alan grove brackets to mount mine, the ac compressor is a high mount and i had to make more room on the top of that passenger side inner fender, right about where you showed those wires with your foot.
When you took it apart in a previous video, you mentioned snapping the bolt off. There was a part of the pedal assy. On the firewall at the time which I noticed is gone now. Just need to know how thick it was, I guessed an inch. We’ll see how it goes back together soon
Just watched your latest video, I guess you haven’t got that far yet. So here’s a tip, if you still have the part of the ebrake that mounts to the firewall , you’ll need it to space the inner fender properly , or make a spacer the same size.
