1955 GMC Green Dream Machine 

I am the type of guy who likes original classic vehicles. With that being said, if I were looking for a more 'modern' classic vehicle, it would be something like this. My favorite era is the 55-59 Chevy/GMC trucks, and this checked just about all the boxes I can think of. VERY NICE!

Wells classic car/truck show this weekend in city park this weekend. Stopped today on the way home from P.O. man parked a bronze 61 mint condition Studebaker Hawk I spoke with him for a bit. Been doing some maintenance on my 2006 Toyota Sienna minivan been posting short video of the progress. Up loading latest video of completed winch wiring and next 2 project involving the vehicle. That truck is definitely a beautiful piece for sure!! He kept it nice and as close to factory style and I absolutely love that!! He just did little bits to help it stand out and it definitely stands out!!! I also love the color combo!!! Very nice and job well done for sure!!! Is he actually working on another project or is he done working on trucks and just enjoying this one??? He should definitely be building something else for his wife to drive along with him!!!

😎😎😎 I worked with a guy, and he and his son spent a couple of years building an old 4 ,wheel drive Toyota pic up . It was built to the hilt ,crome, big wheels and tires , it was a show winner. About a month later, after it was completed, it was stolen and never found. So I just stick with my 89 Geo Metro ,with mags,wide tires, side pipes, and 4 barrel sticking through the hood and a blower scoop . I mean, who's gonna steal a Geo Metro? 😆

I’m glad I’m not the only one that thinks the same way on the seats for a pickup!! I absolutely hate it when people put tall back seats and the tall back covers up most the window in the back!!! I actually have been wanting to change out my bench seat in my 1969 Chevy 1Ton pickup with bucket seats but I’m not exactly sure what vehicle would be good to get them from!!! Plus I’m a shorter guy at 4’10” tall and with my bench seat all the way forward it doesn’t give the passenger much leg room so I figured with buckets I could move the driver seat forward all the way and the passenger seat can stay all the way back!!! Plus with the bench seat all the way forward if I need to pull the 4wheel drive lever back to engage 4High it would have pressure on it because it would be hitting the seat pretty good and would cause it to pop out sometimes!! Bucket seats would definitely help out on several different things and solve my issues!! I did just get a 1973 Chevy camper van and I’m hoping that the buckets out of it will work but if they do I will definitely have to change the apolstrey on them because they are yellow and my truck is a very rare blue from 1969!! I actually thought the truck was repainted because I have never seen a truck that color of blue in the past 35 years!! I had found out that it was actually a factory color and not very many was painted that color of blue!!! I definitely love it though!!!!

My Friend Stephen 3 owner of his family pick up to his original bought as parts from Truck plant in Oshawa Ontario Canada 🇨🇦 and haul in New Brunswick Dartmouth Stephen Grandfather had on farm then late dad then 1986 Stephen got who lives in Cobourg Ontario Canada 🇨🇦 ! Stephen started rebuilt back life in 1988 and 2010 when retired from Trenton Ontario Canada Air Force got up running! But Stephen put Original 235 6 cylinder, Manual transmission 3 speed Coulmn Shifter with 303 rear end all 4 Drum brakes no power steering and brakes but Stephen change it lots ! But he found on Internet that Grandfather bought truck for GM discount employee at Truck Plant bought for steal deal price Lol at this $2.000 dollars original price was $4.000 if was not GM employee ! Also Stephen found had High Output 235 6 cylinders motor Blue Flame and truck was heavy duty 1/2 ton version of 5/8 ton first year with Suburban frame ! Truck is Deep Sea Blue and White plus Chrome trim ! But Stephen had 409 original in 2013 but motor had mishap on but 2 1000CFM Holley 4 barrels with 2 choke each and daul exhaust plus cable in 2 in one and dash also put 12 Volt Negative ground and 1989 GM Creeper 4speed transmission but put 5 gear for 2 Overdrive gear , 388 rear end gears from 2002 Z71 pick 5/8 ton and disk brakes plus power steering and brakes! Stereo modern and he has Veteran decal his because 48 years of service too! But motor is 454 1978 with 2 fuel injection Holley CFM 1000CFM carbs no computer on truck ! One turn over count of 8 starts up on cold or hot starts! You have see the truck haul 42 foot trailer on holidays of Silver Stream aluminum from box hitch! Plus extra fuel is circle 350 gallon from transport truck use tap from original to box cylinder one or run both together too! One thing got rare in West Coast mirrors GM type and Lol air conditioner on window on right GM used sell !

Nice truck. POOR JOB on the engine turning around the gages. Use Scotchbrite on a 2” disc in a drill-press or milling machine with WD-40. Overlap by 1/2 in each direction “left/right” & “up/down” for very nice results.
