Perfect! Thanks Sal. I had trouble setting my points this past fall and I am looking to do just what you showed here. The thread trick in the bushing is perfect. Great idea. I have done socket withdrawing before in other applications but it did not even cross my mind here as there was "no way" to grab the bushing with out getting creative....Cheers!
Forgot to mention to make sure the distributor gear and collor must go on the same as they came off. If you turn them 180 degrees on the shaft the pin will not aliign in the hole.
