=== 🎖️ About Channel 🏆 ===
My goal is to bring old, vintage American tools back to life. I hope to motivate, support and build a community of garage and restoration enthusiasts.
While this channel focuses on American-made tool restorations, the techniques can be used on any of your restoration projects. You will also see that my restorations are tools that I use around my shop. My passion developed over the years from being raised near the American automotive industry in Detroit, MI and Toledo, OH.
Thank you so much for your support in growing this channel to help more people restore their vintage tools!

I enjoy the variety offered by this channel. Even with it being a newer channel there is still something for everyone. Good work.

I want to test the market early to see what viewers like. Variety would be the best of both worlds!

Testing the water in the automotive world. Plenty more on the mustang that needs restored. It's the only way to keep it original.

Awesome to see you dive into automotive Restorations! It’s always cool to see what the heck is inside cars (since I know nothing about them lol)

Let's see what the market says about the automotive world! If it takes off, there's plenty more where this came from.

Straight, white vinegar is cheaper. If you want a stronger acid, you can use "horticultural vinegar". It is more acidic, so be careful.

$2 per gallon is hard to beat. Do you find that white is better than apple cider or is it just cheaper? I had a line on $2.50 gallons at Walmart 5+ years ago. It saved me a ton of money on the large automotive parts like exhaust manifolds.

This horticulture vinegar has been quite the 20 minute rabbit hole. I've never heard of it before. I appreciate the recommendation!

What lubricant did you use during the rebuild
@OneNationRestorations
@OneNationRestorations 3 года назад
I used 10W40 on the shaft because that's what I run in the 351C it's going in. For the cam, I used Standard (brand) Lubricam (name) for distributor points.

Where did you purchase the new parts?
@OneNationRestorations
@OneNationRestorations 3 года назад
The vacuum advance came from Kentucky Mustang (Scott Drake). The plates, points, and condenser were NOS from Ebay - I picked those up 4-5 years ago - they're hard to find. The cap and rotor came from Taylor Vertex. I hope this helps!
