Gorgeous! Like truly awesome! Mine is yellow with a black vinyl roof! Bucket seats, console shift, and factory push button air conditioning. Mine has the wide black and aluminum trim that runs the length of the car, ⅔ of the way down the side. My mom bought it used in the early 1970s. It was strictly our Sunday car. Thank you for making me smile today. I needed the pick me up!
My 67 500 was blue but only had a 225 slant six-was a no-go show boat. Put red lines and spinner hubcaps on it. Boy, it sure was pretty. I gave it to my mother when I got my first 69 Super Bee in November of 68.
Had the same color but a convertible with a 273 console a/t… sold it for $600 when I moved out West in 92… another one that got away. It was a solid & straight car too.. oh well, yours sure looks great.👍🏼
I don't remember them with the stripe on the bottom... Maybe I wasn't paying as much attention back in the day when these were more every day drivers. My brother had one with a slant 6 with a goldish color, I always liked the way they looked.
They didn't have that stripe - nor did they have hood pins. Also it's missing an aluminum side spear that ran from front to back to differentiate the 500. Could've had a 426 Street HEMI if he checked that box, too, I had a '68 500 coupe - I miss it more than the 'Cuda and I think the 500s are more rare than the RTs, too 🚗
