Good job Billy. What type and brand of heater hose do you use? It looks very high quality. What kit do you recommend for a 1987 Chevrolet R10 Fleetside Pick Up without factory air? I was a mechanic for over 20 years and I will be doing the installation myself. Thanks and take care. By the way, Jay Leno speaks very highly of you guys.

This is an off the shelf Dayco 5/8' heater hose

Great job👊 How many total hours did it take u to install it all? I'm considering having a system put in my Chevelle,my Camaro and my Impala. But I'm stuck on the shop doin it or doin it myself.

it really depends on the skill level of the technician and the equipment used, but generally you could expect to spend 20-25 hrs. for the install

We have a new kit out that covers this application,(70'-72' GTO/Lemans/Tempest) if you visit our website www.vintageair.com and enter in your vehicle info. it will pull up the available kits.

Where does the 2 wires on the plug for the compressor lead to? I Kno one is grounded but where does that green one go after that relay connection?

After the relay connection the comp. lead wire will then enter into a safety switch then out of the safety switch to the compressor lead wire.

I have a 67 GTO. Do you have a video on that? I think I also have to remove the inner fender well?

Sorry, but no video. Yes on the 67' GTO you will need to remove the right inner fender for the install.

@va197653 Thank you for the reply. The inner fender doesn't come off without removing the fender. It looks like I have to remove the fender, the hood hinge & the bumper. It sucks. Big job over a damn evaporator. I tried taking it out with the fender on. No way. Thanks again.
