There is no car on the planet that is more beautiful than the Charger body style back in the day,it is an American icon.🇺🇸....Thanks Nick & Roger and guy's🥰.....Roger did a very awesome job on that car...WOW 💥👀👍
The Bodyshop is on a level we rarely see. They took the time to assemble all the exterior body panels, bumpers, grill, stripes, masking, etc to avoid fitment problems that might have damaged the body and paint on final assembly ..Bravo! . Dodge should have reproduced the 1968 -70 Charger as a body in white for the aftermarket car community. It is one of the most beautiful American cars ever manufactured. I would put it in the same category as the 1968 Jaguar XKE. Both cars were light-years away from other cars of that time period.
Thank you I appreciate it, it is exactly for this reason that we have assembled as many parts as possible on the body to remove the risk of damaging the paintwork
From the Space Coast of Florida: Neat history, In 969 I was a young salesman for Wheaton Dodge in Wheaton Maryland. I drove an "XX29 model code" Charger 500 as a demo for a year. Turbine Bronze w/White interior, 426 Hemi, 727 auto trans. My son came home from Hole Cross Hospital where he was born in this car. I sole it just before I left the Dealership. I've always wonder what happened to that sweet ride (Lots of stories and memories). Just saying FYI!
I learned as a finish carpenter around finished cabinets.... 3 things to be wary off when around FINISHED items, 1: BELT BUCKLES 2: coat, vest, jacket METAL ZIPPERS 3: Levi's jeans, rivets
Tell me about it. I went hard this summer on my 70, it's been sitting a long time. I had mine painted yellow in 88, taking to the original a4 silver metallic.
You know, I haven't watched the channel for ages and thought "I wonder how the Charger 500 project went..." and I tune in today and you picked it up yesterday!!!
Patience is a virtue & waiting to see how this turned out was well worth the wait. The pucker factor on Nick's face as he was driving back was intense. White glove treatment for sure, nice to see it assembled.
Eugene is a lucky man Whoever has that charger 500 man he is so lucky especially where it's sitting right now it's going to look good when it comes out me and I can't wait to hear it
Nick..I can tell just by looking at you that you are EXTREMELY honored to have been entrusted with this beautiful project, AND incredibly proud of the job that everyone has done.
Awesome, Nick! This is an Amazing project. Great Job, Roger! You and your skilled team of Wizards knocked it Out-of-the-Park! Eugene certainly made the right choice with Nick's Garage!!! Beautiful.🏁
Not only you Nick wished you owned the Charger 500 I think everyone watching wished we did. The car looks great so far. It'll look great when finished.
Excellent job. And weather only counts if it's driven. Eugene can still say "never been driven in rain or snow." 😄 Now the fun part begins, all down hill now. Another 8-10 weeks if everything goes well, just in time for spring. And I think everything will go perfect, just as it looks like the car is now, this car wants to be new again, it's begging for it. 😀 👏👍🇺🇸🚖
Nick, that Charger 500 is really something awesome! I hope you can do a photo, even poster-sized, of your beautiful Challenger next to the Charger 500; Sell it on your website, that'd be really special!
👍Great Charger! Just a beauty. In 1978 my Bro in law had a ‘68 Charger w/ 440. Loved that car! Always good to catch up on Nicks Garage videos while wearing my almost worn out Nicks Garage hoodie :-) 👍
@@nickpanaritis4122 Hey there! I just now completed the order for a new Nick’s Garage hoodie. Just about worn this old 1 out! Thx for all the great videos! You guys are the best!
Clay…It has been said that everything happens for a reason…Think about it…No more junk…I guess a flip front end and straight front axle is out of the question LOL…Let’s keep moving forward And see how far we get…AWSOME stuff Bubba…. B.
Very happy for you Nick. Your entire life of working on these cars has brought you to this point and has readied you for this task. Savor every moment; it's only going to happen once.
That 500 is a real gem and the yellow/black/hemi orange combination is going to be off the charts beautiful! Eugene will turn heads twice, first from the sound of the"beastly" 440 and second the beautiful color and straight lines of a Charger 500. He is one lucky dude.
Nick , I bet when Eugene sees her he will be in tears!!!! It is a good thing that we have a long winter up here in Canada!!! LOL Oh Bother from a different Mother you will enjoy this lady!!!
Awesome job!!!👍👍👌👌👍👍👍... Nick I hope Santa is bringing you a new pair of boots! Holy cow man they are balder than a race slick.congrats Eugine she's beautiful...👌👌👌👍👍✌️
