For some reason this is one of my favorites videos I’ve produced to date. Hope it’s somewhat informative or a little entertaining for you guys. The charger is coming along pretty good so far. As always, feel free to leave suggestions about the video, good or bad. Anything helps!
I'm sure most of you know who they are and what they make but for those who are unfamiliar, Auto Metal Directs makes reproduction parts for a large majority of older muscle cars and trucks. Top notch quality and great people is what makes the AMD brand so great. Check out their website and socials to see if they have the panels needed to replace the rust on your projects:

Haha, great stuff. I got my first Charger when I was 16. Yeah, they were cheap back then. The body was good, and I put my time into mechanical work. The thing just kept getting better, a Fantastic sleeper. Time when on, heading towards 40 years, multiple Mopars later and a lot of body work these days too. Yup, you got the bug. Awesome to watch you, congrats doing it. It not only saves the $. You’ll keep learning more and more. Hoping more suppliers catch wind, and come on board 🤙

i just finished the exact same project on a similarly ratty 1967 charger. never done this level of metalwork before, but i'm real proud with how it all came out! i w as careful and took my time and did the best work i could. and now the car has floors again! got my fresh 440/727 in a few days ago. everyday this car is closer to being on the road again. what a great feeling! nice job on yours. always cool to see somebody with some experience do the work and realize i'm not so bad myself haha.

Would it be worth the extra rigidity after doing the spot welds, to go ahead and do all the edges of the metal to the rest of the body. I'm not sure if thats called seam welding?
@camracing

Debatable, it would be adding extra weight for no particular gain. The car will have a full cage/chassis it it’ll have plenty of rigidity when done

@@camracing If keeping the inner structure of the car stock, besides adding inner gusset plating behind all the pillars, wouldn't that be the better option if one doesn't want to add a roll cage? Same with the rear quarters reinforcing them all.
