Nice I just saved a 1970 w200 from being crushed, I have a OM617 turbo diesel that is begging to go in it, not near the power of a cummins but it is what it is sitting under my oak tree..Im really digging that flat bed on it...
Beautiful truck. I stand behind the 727 torque flite. I've owned my rig for 10 years never had a problem with the trans and that includes pushing around 38 inch military tires and a 10 inch lift
I own a 1967 Fargo W200 single cab & was looking to put the cab & bed on a 93 Dodge 2500 4x4 with Cummins . Did you have to do any mods to the firewall / rad support ? Anyway to contact you on fb etc ? Thanks .
I've got a 1970 w-300 power wagon that I stuffed a Cummins 6.9 into. I have a '92 D-250 with a 6.9 The W-300 has an aftercooler and, the D-250 has an intercooler. I don't see either one on your truck. It appears that the hose from the turbo goes directly to the intake manifold. My '92 was originally 180 hp and, still needs the intercooler. You are definitely going to have troubles with heat.
I have a 66 D100 SWB with the 5.9 and NV4500. Not a frame swap. No intercooler, same as this truck. Been running it since 2005, over 50,000 miles, NO PROBLEMS. Please explain what you think is going to be a heat problem. Also, there is no fan on mine and the electrics in front of the radiator quit yrs ago. It never gets above 160, even when towing, as much as 2400#.
