Anyone have a good 💡 for a name on this car? Was thinking of doing a Chevelle t-shirt. Maybe a good slogan? Lol. My creativity with that kind of thing is not great. Huge thank you to you guys for any ideas. Thanks!

The great thing about RU-vid is you can find people working on things out of their garage at home. I find it more pleasurable watching people work on things in the every day "common" man workplace unlike these television shows or how some RU-vidrs get to the point of what gets to be a high dollar looking shop and only working on things in ideal weather conditions on a squeaky clean painted garage floor. The best RU-vid channels just as yours, are the one's that aline with the every day "common" man. Thanks for all your work you put into these videos.

A Chevelle SS tribute with a BB, Rally Wheels, B&M Shifter, Ladder Bars, tinted windows, 6x9's with Fun Fur on the rear deck. It's what we here in Pa. considered "Standard Equipment" in the 80's. Someone really loved that car. I love seeing these gems still rollin'.

My el camino was factory with green interior and someone painted it black. It has Camaro wheels and a B&M star shifter. Sometimes I think about putting the column shifter back in. I currently have an overdrive transmission and could use a four speed shifter but the old one works you just can't manually put it in first gear.

Nice progress Chris!!! Thank god for bead sealer, needle scalers and wire wheels!!! LOL. Glad you got the suspension a little more dialed in. I bet it would be pretty awesome with some decent shocks and some cheap coilovers. The QA1's are the hot ticket for the budget DIY coilover setup. They are especially popular with the circle track guys, and def meant for the domestic stuff. The drilled out ignition tumbler brings back memories for me LMAO. I was running one of my e34's with the ignition switch dangling and a pair of needle nose vice grips to hold the steering lock off when my lock cylinder linkage snapped and I was too lazy to change it for a couple months. Cheap ass pot metal. Funny thing was the key fit PERFECTLY in the back of the ignition switch LOL. Looks so much better with the stance not all weird and the purple tint scraped off. Nice job as usual bro, and thanks again for sharing! Can't wait to see this beast all dialed in!👍😁💪 P.S. Bass Dumpster and or Trash Liner shirts would be F'N AWESOME!!!!😎

Nice work , looks good ,those ladder/traction bars are the right ones for a coil spring car you just need to lower them some more about a 1.5-2.5” below the frame so when you car in under weight it won’t touch the frame so that when your driving it feels normal not stiff in the rear but then when you punch it it’ll bring the rear down enough to work properly so not to hop anymore, hope that helps

Nice project. FYI; the dash appears to be out of a Monte Carlo. I had a 71 el Camino back in the 90’s. I swapped the SS hood as well as the dash out of a 70 chevelle SS that had a tach. I later wrecked it and smashed the SS dash. I pulled the gauges out and threw the rest away. I later came across a Monte Carlo in a wrecking yard. It had the same fake wood grain as the one in this car, also with a clock instead of tach. I swapped my SS gauges into it and spray painted the wood grain semi gloss black. IIRC the SS dash had a separate “fasten seatbelts” light that the Monte Carlo dash didn’t. The dash pad was the same for all of the dashes I used.
