1971 Plymouth Hemi Cuda Convertible Diecast review (1/18 scale) by BYC/Acme

From 1965 to 1974 I think the most kick-ass American muscle rides were made. The Plymouth Barracuda is one of my favorites. Have a few 1971s in my collection now and actually this is a special limited edition convertible by Backyard Conversions (BYC) (www.118scalemusclecars.com/)
Plymouth designs, especially their front fascias, have always fascinated me. The grille work on this one is one of the major differences from the 1970 version as well as the four headlights. Plus, being a BYC/YCID (Your Car In Diecast) release, this one has been converted, so definitely special.

This version of the Cuda looks awesome...I would love to find the 1/43 scale version of this one👍😊 And that paint combination...perfect This is a great addition to your collection my friend 👍😊

Acme has been producing these Cudas for quite some time now. But Highway 61 and Ertl did it in years past. It's a nice one for sure

To defend myself I why wouldn’t you have emailed about the boot instead of showing it like that. Apparently the interior bucket came loose on the trip and popped the boot up. It’s happened before. It absolutely did not leave here that way. Also, this last batch of boots, which I have 3D printed in mass, where not as good as previous ones. Due to timing I couldn’t wait another month for him to redo them. Want a better one, you should reached out first not trash it in your video.

Hey John. I didn't even think of the interior bucket and thought it was just glue coming apart due to the heat (and sun) while I was recording (you can see that during the initial minutes, boot was still attached.) The video shows that indeed the boot detached during the recording so it was not shipped like that. Didn't think about sending you a message because this is a minor mishap (i.e. It's something I could easily fix). But indeed, this boot didn't turn out as previous ones. If there's a better one, that's a tidbit I can pin on the comments just so that viewers are aware. Hopefully, future boots turn out like previous ones. Next time I'll contact you if I see anything wrong or if I find something's amiss. Thanks!
