Dont worry about those KYB shocks. Just pulled Bilsteins out of my C4 corvette and the KYB shocks gave it a totally different feel for the better. Keep up the great work, and keep doing the vids. Your doing great.
Nice Job. I did notice the upper shock bolts are in backwards. The nuts go on the inside with very little clearance.. You will have a problem later moving the bolts when the body is on. It looks great.
I'll be following along as I also have a '72. Thanks for the suggestion for VTech Corvette. They're not too far away from me. Also, if you are recording on your phone, you might want to turn it sideways to show the wider image. It's a more natural view. Thanks again for the videos of your progress.
Everything about the chassis and suspension is pretty identical besides the differential on the 80-82 is a batwing mount style aluminum dana and the half shafts are a different size. I think that’s all
@@ryanrychliski6464It seems completely Identicle for the entire C3 run. I knew about the half shafts, The center drive shaft is shorter also, Thak you Ryan
The body mount points are slightly different between early and late C3s. IIRC they went to a thicker bushing in the mid 70s and moved the mounts down. Just need to get the right bushings for the frame. I think there are differences for the bumper mounting and gas tank mounting as well.
