When I moved to the US in 1973, my uncle brought the new/used from the dealer in San Francisco where he was discharged from the Tour of Combat Duty in Nam. The truck under this condition in the US cost around 2.3K and the A/C was $500.00 options. The P/B was also option for $50.00 AM-FM Stero with 2 speakers one front and one back was $250.00 options. There was no P/W and P/W Door Lock. The 4 barrel Carburetor is $75.00 option as well as WW tire. The High Test Gas was 43 cents a gallon. The dealer prep also charged you $85.00 and car payment was $85.00 a month for 4 years with 6% interests from Saving and loans. The truck has column shifts if you want floor shifts it is $75.00 options.
When I watched this video yesterday I was reminded that it was an extended wheelbase, short overhang truck just like this on another video of yours that I found last year. I instantly subscribed because I had been trying to figure out what that body style is called and I was thrilled to find your channel with accurate vehicle descriptions. You're doing it right!!!! So yesterday I found your podcast and have listened to 15 episodes while I work. Great story, thanks for sharing!
