It was a top year for alot of Actors. Most major stars had a movie out, some had two. And even the legends nowadays who were beginning their careers were in something. The busiest actors were Clint Eastwood ( Magnum Force and High Plains Drifter), Robert Redford ( The Sting and The Way we Were), Al Pacino ( Serpico and Scarecrow).
Terrance Malick made his first feature film ( Badlands) and George Lucas had his second feature ( American Graffiti) before his Star Wars days.
Martin Scorsese released Mean Streets, a film that would showcase his talent for mob movies.
Roger Moore made his first appearance as James Bond ( Live and Let Die).
Bruce Lee would finally hit international stardom ( Enter the Dragon) only to pass away shortly after.
