Another bumper year in Movies.
3 top Earners were :
1. Harry Potter- Deathly Hallows part 2.
2. Transformers : Dark of the Moon
3. Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides.
Marvel Movies were on the verge of taking over ( Captain America & Thor). X- Men : First Class was a very welcome reboot of the franchise. Others failed (Green Lantern & Green Hornet).
Alot of sequels appeared, some Excellent (MI : Ghost Protocal, Fast 5), some good ( Sherlock Holmes : Game of Shadows and The Hangover 2) and some below par ( Transformers: Dark of the Moon and Pirates of the Caribbean 4).
They did remake a few older classics like ( Rise of the Planet of the Apes, The Thing, Fright Night, The Mechanic, Conan ).
