Nice bike I would replace no 2 inlet valve and give them a grind new rings and put the cams that came out of it back someone spent good dollars on souping that engine up and she will go like anything

max you can bore stock 900 cylinders is 70 mm or 1015 cc. back in the 70's and early 80's before the days of big blocks they used remove the stock sleeves to bore out stock cylinder and put bigger sleeves out and they could go out to 76 mm bore or 1197 cc. infact i have 2 one 10.25-1 compression and the other has 13.5-1 mtc drag race pistons.the reason yosh built those 69 mm pistons was for the superbike road race class they had a 1000cc size limit and yosh also wanted keep abit extra meat in the sleeve so they would be less prone to going out of round due to the extra heat from high rpm. would you be interested in getting rid of those cams

The strange thing i can't get my head round is with cars with headers on you open up the exhaus teven having twin pipes for 4 cyl cars . Yet with bikes you go down to a single bike from 4 pipes seems backwards to me and i always thought that single pipes on 4 cyl bikes sounded like crap.
