Replace the old, worn, or missing striker in the trunk of your 1979-1993 Fox Body Mustang with this complete trunk latch striker kit from industry leader 5.0 Resto! The provided components work together to refresh your trunk with a new trunk latch striker, a retaining bracket, and two mounting screws. The striker is identical to the original and allows plenty of adjustment using the new retaining bracket and hardware to properly mount it in place to secure your trunk.
5.0 Resto's latch striker is a complete reproduction of the original, including the correct bends and diameter of the factory striker. Also included is a retaining plate that features the OE bends and mounting holes to accurately retain the striker. Both the latch striker and retaining plate in this kit are constructed from durable steel to the factory length and dimensions that are then finished in a bright zinc coating. Lastly, 5.0 Resto includes two mounting screws covered in a black phosphate coating that contain the floating washer, correct thread pitch, and length for a simple install! This latch striker will fit 1979-1993 coupe/notchback and 1983-1993 convertible Fox Body Mustangs.
