Unless you drive a car like this, you will never know the elegance of cruising in an American luxury car. Owned a Mark III, and this brings back great memories. Thank you!
My heart is skipping beats looking at this beauty. That car is the most classy Lincoln Mark I’ve ever seen, seriously. Color combo just breathtaking. Look down the front of the hood and you see 69’ Continental Mark III
@@christianbugatticg Do you think that the dealer badge on the trunk lid would come off cleanly? Also, if someone lightly pressed on the antenna while someone inside the car operated the antenna switch do you think you could get the antenna down? I’ve have a good bit of experience with power antennas and I’ve found that some very light lubricant such as LPS 1 can bring a sticking antenna back to life. Is the driver’s window now operating properly? How about the fuel injection badge on the left fender? Thank you very much.
Hey good morning! So yes I think the badge will easily come off, but I typically leave them as "some" buyers like the classic badges from where the car came. I tried playing with the antenna but no success, although the antenna motor does work. Car is at the shop this very second getting the window fixed and the new badge came in on Friday!! Hope this helps! Thanks and good luck if you decide to bid. @@CH67guy1
I already have a Mark VI, but I watched anyway. You have the best channel and one day you will display a car that I want and don't yet have. Thank you,
It's gorgeous and silver is hard to pull off on a luxury automobile but Lincoln hit it out of the park! I agree with you that it was the last of the true Lincoln look...
Another excellent low milage example. Interesting to learn that the Mk VI is more refined than a Mk V. Having only briefly driven a Mk V compared to most UK cars i found it so comfortable, they realy knew how to make highly desirable cars in the late 70/80's.
That Mark 6 seems to have a trimmer more manageable physique than the Mark 5 from 77-79 personally I am a huge fan of the Mark 3s I do like the Mark 4s better than the Mark 5s any time over the years I did get to drive some of these and I start to think like Frank Cannon I want to get my Private Investigators license and learn Judo & become a gorurmet chef & expert wine taster and get me a penthouse apartment at the sunrise tower in Longbeach
Very retro-different from the Euro-influenced Mark VII. Both offered a now lost American take on luxury. Many were made, WHERE did they all go???? This car-demo-man looks like he could bench-lift that Mk VI !!!
I owned an 83 MARV VI...for 4 years...I currently own an 85 Eldorado biarritz...40 thousand miles ..THE LINCOLN is a far superior luxury automobile in every aspect...RIDE...QUITE...POWER ...much TIGHTER all AROUND . ..LINCOLN MARK VI...HANDS DOWN ...in my opinion .. Whoever buys it is in 4 a pleasant surprise behind the wheel of a fine automobile
I have owned 3 MARK V's .......... .and 1 83 MARK VI ...smoother and quiter ...AN INCREDIBLY UNDERRATED AMERICAN LUXURY CAR...STILL a BIG CAR LINCOLN RIDE ...IF it had a moonroof....b in my driveway...
