Getting tires/alloys changed over in readiness for long term storage at the end of a road trip. Note - The alloy wheels being removed are from the 1990 model.
I own a 1983 and a 1987 Olds Custom Cruiser wagon. The 1987 looks very similar to yours, or it did until I was rear ended at about 50mph in a school zone and pushed into a vehicle in front. I am still trying to recover from the injuries. My car, however, never will. I am very serious about wanting to buy the 88 wagon above or one very similar. I have severe scoliosis and is it literally my wheel chair to life. The 83 has too many problems to restore and the 87 was in near pristine condition. I had adjustments made to the drivers seat (1/3 -2/3 split) to make it comfortable with my handicap. Besides my actual medical need for one, they are just plain really the best rides ever made in my humble opinion. Please let me know if it is for sale or if you may know of another similar with the tan interior , solid frame and body and at least driveable engine. Between the other two I can probably rebuild a lot of the interior/ repaint exterior, if needed, and exchange partsfrom my other two as they are both driveable. It would be great to find one in excellent condition right now and keep the others for parts.
