I had a friend my first semester of college who had one of these, it was in ROUGH shape. His front axle was bent (I don’t know how the alignment was still good), the front passenger window didn’t roll down, the AC didn’t work, one of his hood mounts was broken from a prior accident so the hood wouldn’t latch closed, and the transmission shifted POORLY, and yet it still ran and drive. This body style of Accord was made back in the days when Hondas were actually reliable.
My mom bought one of these brand new. It was her first car in the States, and she still has it. It's in rough condition. Hopefully, one day, we can fix it
I've been looking around youtube and it's hard to come by 1991-1993 car reviews and vids because I'm soon going to be 16 and I am buying one off of a family friend which is a 1991 accord lx coupe.
+Z Dubs I drove a 92 Accord from high school until a few years after college, sold it for $4,000 with about 220,000 miles on it. I kept it perfect with no accidents, washed it every week, waxed it once a month. I'm 36 now, still my favorite car
I had a '92 EX 4-door (White/Navy) and I still miss that car. I totaled it back in 2005 with only 98k miles on it. These cars were so over-built that they last forever!
My mom had a 92 Accord as well that was an LX 2 door, same color. My mom bought it brand new for her first car and kept it for 17 years. I recently bought a 92 LX 4 door cobalt blue/gray. Needs some work but once I get everything taken care of it over time. It should be a good lasting car for a long time.
I drove a car like this. The doors would lock beyond a certain miles per hour. There was an optional wheel lock. Optional trunk lock. Advanced for it's day. Many many many many many security features.
Wow this makes me think when my uncle Dan had a CB7 Honda Accord. But it died a couple of years ago. The last time that my dad was there it was just siting there since it died. But the last time i heared from them. They wanted to being it back to life. So i don't know if they did it or they still want too. Or don't know if they have it anymore
Yours sounds better then mine I got a 91 LX 4-door JDM with manual seat belts not those gay seat belts the American models has mine has 317 on the dash and the motor is still powerful I spent almost $1,500 on replacement parts my car makes 3 different weird noises steering noise and when I'm stopping and a loud noise when the car is cold but it goes away after 5 minutes as I drive and the car gets warmer
