HELP. I installed a 4-channel amp in my 97 K1500 extended cab. The front speakers works good, but there’s no sound coming out of the rear speakers. I swapped the RCAs to see if it was the cables but nothing changed. I did however find out that if I unhooked the wires from channel 4 on the amp the rear driver side speaker would come on but the one on the passenger side will not. If I hook up just one wire on channel 4 then both of them will come on for a min but then they quit. Do I need to run new wires directly from the rear speakers to the amp or what?

I got a problem with my truck ever seen i took the center console out i no longer get vocals out off my speakers, can i just wire up my door speakers to a amp ??

The issue is that the chime goes through the factory driver side door speaker. TO retain that, you need a different wiring harness adapter for your aftermarket radio. Hi, I'm trying to install my amp power wire thru the firewall but I can't find a grommet in my 2000 Toyota Camry... Do you guys know how can I get my wire thru the firewall?

The factory loom goes through the driver side fender, not through the firewall. Pull the wheel well cover out and you can see where to run the power wire through the firewall.

All my speakers and amps are wired properly and everything. When i turn my volume passed 25/40 my 4 channel amp cuts out but my subs on my mono block keep playing. The 4 channel will comeback for a split second and cut back out unless I turn it down. Why?

Your gain is probably too high on your 4 channel and it is clipping and sending it into protect turn it down some and then turn up the radio see if it still does it

@@bigrobstillpimpn it's barely turned up. I think its an ampedamce problem. I solved the issue but now 2 channels dont work on the amp. I think im just gonna get a better amp and be done with it. Then rewire the speakers

When I run my system hard, my voltage drops low enough where my jl 4 channel amp will turn off and my digital designs amp will stay on. It's because my voltage drop is too much and the jl amp won't run below around 11 volts and my dd amp will run down to 9 volts i think.

Blue / white wire of your aftermarket radio. IF you don't have an aftermarket radio, you can locate switched power at the fuse box.

Well, depends on how much power you are pushing. You certainly can run new wire to each door speaker, or if the speakers are lower wattage, you can run your amp output wiring to the wiring harness behind the radio instead (which uses the factory wiring to the doors.

I’m running pioneer 6 1/2s in the front doors 4x6s in the back doors and 6x9s under the seat right now I know their under powered cause my headunit its 50x4

today I worked on getting my 4 channel amp installed on my chevy truck. I have a double din head unit and I already have a bass amp hooked up, so i tried running wires/remote and 2 pair rca's when everything was connected I didn't have no sound.😞 help plz

check to make sure the 4 channel amp is turning on. If so, check to ensure your RCA wires are connected properly. Also check to see if you have your speaker wire hooked up correctly.

Simple 2 channel RCA output to amp. That is it. No need to run new speaker wiring.

Went to see how to do this to my truck and you don't show how to do it, you try to explain it but do not show the work, you show the before and after, how is this supposed to teach using we don't see the work? Wtf?😢
