We finally decided what to do with the DOA Dodge Dakota we brought home a few weeks ago. We are going to ditch the TBI 3.9 in favor of a carbureted 318. The catch? We are going to start with a multi port fuel injected 5.2L Magnum V8 form a 1995 Dakota. This is the same engine found in the ZJ Grand Cherokee. We are going to swap the intake so that the motor will fit a carb, and hopefully build the perfect little cruiser truck. Super simple, super old school.
The first step was to find a donar vehicle and go pull the engine. That is what we did today!
