Here's my unboxing of the 1995 NASB Thompson Chain Reference Bible Premier Collection in tan goatskin. Full review coming soon. Amazon (affiliate) amzn.to/46jJUHE Zondervan provided this Bible in exchange for an honest review.
Is the paper in this the same whiteness as in the non premium? Also do you think that the font in this appears darker/bolder than in the on premium version? I have vision issues and trying to decide if getting this, or the large print would be the better move. Sometimes better paper and darker font can make a font more readable than a larger print. Have you already done a review comparing the two?
Hi. I haven't seen the non-premium yet, but the paper they use for those is 30gsm instead of 36gsm. The print seems a little darker in the premium, but not a lot. I have compared the premium and non-premium in the KJV, NKJV, and NIV. Those should help you decide. I'll post links to them.
Thanks so much, Randy. I usually get the Premier Collection but they’re now too expensive. Have you seen the leathersoft edition. What do you think of the red text?
The Thompson lists verses under topics while a concordance lists verses for specific words. For example, if you look up marriage in the TCR, you'll find vereses that don't include the word "marriage", but fit within the topic. If you look up marriage in a concordance you only see vereses that include the word "marraige".
