Been watching this video for years still saving up to do this to mine 😭 Just wondering if turning on the heater would cause the ipad to overheat? Or if you’d need to redirect the air ducts behind to go somewhere else
What did you do about the heater vents if u run the heat it will just be hitin the back of the I pad would prob over heat it I would think wanted to do the same but just didn't know how I would block them off so it don't heat up my radio lmk jw
I have an adapter the goes from 3.5mm headphone jack to rca. From there it connects to my amp and my amp connects to my head unit, speakers, and sub. I couldn’t figure out a way to completely bypass the head unit. The head unit is still in there but it’s just pushed further back.
Look up the JL Audio mbt-crxv2 . I believe it can be hooked up with out the head unit .it has an optinal wire for head unit if you decide to relocate head unit. I might try the same on my 96 .
Yeah the ac vents are still there but I figured I’d leave them to cool the iPad on hot summer days. I did route a charger cord down to the cigarette lighter port that is always plugged into the iPad.
