I am preparing my 2000 Honda Prelude for State Safety Inspection.
Some of the the following repairs are necessary to be completed before I head to the Inspection Station..
On this Long Video, I will show you how I was able to replace all of my strut assembly, the upper balljoints and lower balljoints...
I really love working on projects, D.I.Y is the best route to take if you enjoy doing things like this while saving money!!

New Strut Assembly
New Springs
New Front Upper and Lower Balljoints
Jack and Jack Stands
socket wrenches / extensions / swivel joints / punch /
torque wrench / Deep sockets / impact driver / breaker bar /
pickle fork / balljoint separator / Spring Compressor / Balljoint Press /
Sledgehammer / pliers / cutters / Open wrenches /36mm Axle Socket

Thank you for putting this up. Do you know if the L&R Rear shocks are interchangeable? The have different part numbers.

Your welcome! I believe they have different part numbers, but they were identical, the new ones doesn't had a L or R stamp on them..

My caliper bracket scrapes the rotor but only when turning right. Could replacing the lower ball joint fix this? The brakes are new, but maybe this happening initially could have caused the rotors to warp? I believe it all stemmed from an un-staked axle nut from the previous owner 🙈

Warp rotors could cause a bracket scrape if it doesn't turn "true rotation" , easy way to check the rotor is to remove it and use flat edge to determine its flatness.. a worn lower balljoint can also contribute to the angle of the hub assembly, which can cause inner rub for tires, bad handling, and excessive play to where the spindle and brake assembly may shift or vibrates.. the axle nut wouldn't have too much of effect on what you are experiencing now as it only secures the axle from hub to side by side motion, and prevent it from disassembling its self to the transmission, with all the suspension components attached, the movement is really limited..

Man, I had to Google translate that.. Some local part store carries them, but you can also find them online.. check reputable eBay and Amazon sellers.. also check bapgeon auto parts, majestic honda, rockauto, and trq..
