@goblue918 Defenses like this just don't exist anymore, really. This is mostly because the offensive schemes of the college ball have evolved radically in the past decade. Now there are so many variations, formations, and trick plays that one defense can't totally shut down all of them. I don't think defenses will ever look this good again...but you're right, it would be nice if our defense could match the talent of this one.

Seriously...I dont remember Tuman dropping a pass in 97....kid had great hands. Sadly he was before his time as a pass catching TE....kid would be lethal in football of this era of spread and throwing the ball.

ah good game. i got a friend who is a "northwestern" fan so to speak cause his dad graduated from there. we're both texas fans as well, but for some reason since texas stunk last yr, he became the biggest northwestern fan all of a sudden. hmm go figure lol
